Spirit of Aquementas is documented as a reward in WoW Classic’s Linken questline: a level 56, bind-on-pickup off-hand that increases magical spell damage and healing by up to 20. The available references do not confirm whether the item or questline is currently available or unchanged in Season of Discovery.
What Spirit of Aquementas does
Wowhead’s WoW Classic item listing identifies Spirit of Aquementas as a level 56, bind-on-pickup off-hand. Its listed effect is: “Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 20.” View the Classic item listing.
How to get Spirit of Aquementas in WoW Classic
The item is one of the choices at the end of the Linken questline. The Classic guide lists the chain as available to both Alliance and Horde, with a level 47 requirement. It starts in Un’Goro Crater with “It’s a Secret to Everybody” and follows Linken’s errands across several zones. Read the WoW Classic questline guide.
Questline route
- Begin in Un’Goro Crater with “It’s a Secret to Everybody.”
- Follow Linken’s instructions to Donova Snowden in Winterspring.
- Continue through the Videre Elixir objective in Feralas and meet Gaeriyan in Tanaris.
- Complete later errands involving J.D. Collie and Eridan Bluewind.
- Gather Silvery Claws and an Irontree Heart in Felwood, then return to Tanaris to summon Aquementas and obtain the Silver Totem of Aquementas.
- Return to Un’Goro Crater for the closing quest, “It’s Dangerous to Go Alone.”
Final objective
For “It’s Dangerous to Go Alone,” use the Silver Totem of Aquementas on Blazerunner, defeat him, and retrieve the Golden Flame. Return to Linken to turn in the quest. The quest entry lists a level 47 requirement and level 56 quest level. See the final quest details.

Which reward should you choose?
The final quest awards Linken’s Boomerang and lets you choose one of two items: Spirit of Aquementas or Linken’s Sword of Mastery. Spirit is the documented off-hand option for spell damage and healing; the cited item and quest references do not provide enough comparative item data to say which choice is better for a particular character. Check your character’s needs and the in-game reward details before selecting, since the sources do not establish whether the choice can be reversed.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is Spirit of Aquementas available in Season of Discovery?
The available item and quest references describe WoW Classic content, not Season of Discovery implementation. The quest guide reports Patch 1.15.8, but these sources do not confirm whether the questline or reward is currently available in Season of Discovery, or whether either has been changed. Treat the Classic route and item effect above as Classic reference information rather than confirmation of current SoD availability.
