Its PlayStation trophy list includes a story-related award and the Platinum, while achievement support and requirements can vary by platform.
How to set up co-op before you start
Split Fiction is built for two-player co-op. Pick local or online play based on your setup; a second controller is required for local PS5 play, not for online play.

How to approach the trophy and achievement route
The roadmap below follows chapter order so optional actions appear near the part of the story where the guide places them. Most optional awards are chapter-specific: notice them as you play rather than relying on a later sweep. The PowerPyx roadmap says chapter select enables cleanup, so it does not consider trophies fully missable, but an optional action can still be missed during a chapter.

Use chapter select after the story for missed tasks. For a side story, the roadmap advises completing its final checkpoint normally so its completion mark registers. For exact character roles, checkpoint names, and interaction sequences, use the linked walkthrough; the checklist here is a route map, not a substitute for its visual directions.

- A Friendly Push and One Bird, Three Stones are listed in the chapter route. The trophy guide places One Bird, Three Stones near the beginning of Halls of Ice, with three snowballs near a snowman.
- Cold Potato requires completing Gameshow without the bomb exploding. Treat this as retry-sensitive: use the linked walkthrough’s checkpoint and sequence directions rather than improvising if you are close to the end of the challenge.
Chapter 4: Final Dawn

- Complete Kites, Moon Market, and Notebook, bringing the tally to nine side stories.
- Find and sit on Bench 3 of 6.

Chapter 8: Split
BFF’s is story-related in the trophy roadmap. On PlayStation, It Took Two is the Platinum trophy and unlocks after earning the other trophies.
How to clean up missed tasks
- Open chapter select and return to the chapter containing the optional trophy, side story, or bench you missed.
- Use the linked trophy walkthrough to locate the relevant checkpoint and confirm the character roles or interaction sequence, especially for challenge-style trophies.
- For side stories, complete the final checkpoint normally so the game records the completion mark, as the PowerPyx roadmap advises.
- Check the trophy or achievement list on your own platform after the activity. Do not assume a PlayStation trophy route or award name is identical on PC, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch 2.
Accessibility options and optional actions
EA’s accessibility information documents remappable controls, an option to reduce enemy damage, and “Allow Skipping to Next Checkpoint.” Its documentation is based on US English PC and console versions, so labels or availability may differ by platform, region, or language. Check the in-game settings on your version.

Checkpoint skipping can bypass optional interactions. Leave it off while approaching a trophy action or side-story objective; use it only after the action is safely behind you or when the remaining route no longer needs it.
