It is a historical promotion, not a sale readers can assume is still active: as of October 8, 2026, check each game’s Steam listing for the current price and availability in your region.
What was in Square Enix’s Black Friday Steam sale?
The publisher highlighted discounts on recent releases, game collections, and older catalog titles. Its announcement linked featured games to their Steam listings, but the reductions below describe the November 2025 promotion only; they are not current prices.

Are the sale prices still available?
Not as a single, ongoing promotion that can be confirmed from the announcement. The sale took place in November 2025, and its announcement did not set one universal end date for every game. Square Enix also cautioned that Steam could display a different end time, that offers could change without notice, and that buyers should confirm the sale price on each individual Steam page. To see what a game costs now, open its Steam listing for your region and check the displayed price and offer dates.
Does the sale mean every game works on Steam Deck?
No. Steam’s Square Enix publisher catalog has a Steam Deck Verified filter, but the catalog page does not establish Deck verification or playability for every game in the historical promotion. Check the individual game listing for its current compatibility information: Square Enix’s Steam publisher catalog.

Was this part of Steam’s 2026 Autumn Sale?
No. Square Enix’s Black Friday announcement was dated November 19, 2025. Steamworks lists the 2026 Autumn Sale as October 1–8 and the 2026 Winter Sale as December 17, 2026–January 4, 2027. Those seasonal dates provide context; they do not indicate that Square Enix will repeat its Black Friday promotion. See Steamworks’ seasonal sale calendar and participation guidance. The Square Enix archive records the original announcement date: Square Enix PC Game Hub archive.
