Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsTo build a taller tower in Stack, watch the moving block before tapping, use a consistent corner as your alignment reference, and favor accurate placements over rushed ones. These seven practical adjustments can help you find a rhythm; optional sound and pattern changes depend on what works for you.
How to time each placement
1. Watch the block before tapping
Blocks move back and forth above the tower. Observe a few passes to get a feel for their speed, then tap when the moving block reaches the position you want. Learning its rhythm can make your timing less reactive.
2. Keep your finger near the screen
Hover close enough to make a quick tap, but not so close that you trigger a placement before you are ready. The comfortable distance varies, so adjust it through play.
How to keep your alignment in view
3. Choose one corner as your reference
Rather than trying to judge the whole block at once, keep your eyes on the same corner as it moves into place. The 2018 iMore guide suggests the upper-left corner for right-handed players and the upper-right for left-handed players, so the hand is less likely to obscure the view. Choose whichever corner stays visible to you.

How to avoid rushed or accidental taps
4. Tap lightly
The iMore guide warns that a hard tap may register as a double tap, placing the next block before you are ready. A lighter touch may also be more comfortable during a long run.
5. Put accuracy ahead of speed
The 2018 guide describes a screen flash when a block is centered, with brighter flashes after consecutive accurate placements. It also reports that enough accurate placements can earn a larger block, giving you a wider base and more room for error. Those mechanics are reported by that guide; they are not independently verified here.

Optional changes to try
6. Experiment with block patterns
The iMore guide says players can earn crystals to buy patterns and colors, which it describes as cosmetic. Its author found that the lines on the “check” pattern helped with alignment. Treat that as a personal observation, not a guaranteed advantage: try a pattern if its design makes the block’s position easier for you to judge.
7. Mute sound if it distracts you
The guide describes placement chimes that grow louder and faster during repeated accurate taps. If the sound pulls your attention away from the moving block, try muting it; if it helps you focus, leave it on. This is a matter of preference.
