If the headline refers to January 2020, Stadia Pro’s two reported new additions were Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration and Thumper. They joined three earlier games that were still claimable, making five titles available to add to a subscriber’s collection by the end of the month. The year matters: January 2021 had a different lineup.
What was new to Stadia Pro in January 2020?
A January 1, 2020 report identified two games arriving for Stadia Pro members that day:
- Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration
- Thumper
Those were the January additions, not the complete list of games that could be claimed. Three games from earlier months remained available as well.
Which games remained claimable?
In a January 28, 2020 Stadia Savepoint, Google Director of Product Andrey Doronichev listed the games still available to add to a subscriber’s collection: Destiny 2, Farming Simulator 19 Platinum Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, SAMURAI SHODOWN and Thumper.

That official list clarifies the distinction: Rise of the Tomb Raider and Thumper were new for January, while Destiny 2, Farming Simulator 19 Platinum Edition and SAMURAI SHODOWN were continuing claimable titles. The January post also said GYLT and Metro Exodus would be free to Pro users in February; they were not part of January’s list.

There was another Stadia Pro January lineup a year later. Google’s December 2020 announcement named five games for January 2021: F1 2020, Hotline Miami, Figment, El Hijo – A Wild West Tale and Ary and the Secret of the Seasons.

A report published January 1, 2021 said four of those titles were joining that day—Ary and the Secret of the Seasons, Figment, F1 2020 and Hotline Miami—and that El Hijo was also available to claim, despite not having previously been slated for inclusion. The January 1 report therefore described the actual claim list as including all five.
So, for the two games in the original January 2020 announcement, the answer is Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration and Thumper. If you meant January 2021, the lineup was different; the year should be specified to avoid mixing the lists.
