In Stake.us Chicken, choose a difficulty, set your play amount and start a round. Each successful jump raises the multiplier. You can secure the win while the chicken is standing on a tile; if a tile breaks or a car hits it first, the round ends without that win. The game is an online Stake Original, and Stake.us lists demo mode as unavailable.
How do you play Chicken on Stake.us?
- Open the game. Find Chicken in the Stake Originals games. Stake.us describes it as one of its original games. Stake.us Chicken game page
- Choose a difficulty and play amount. The available settings are Easy, Medium, Hard and Extra Hard.
- Start the round. The chicken begins moving across the road. Each successful jump advances it to another tile and increases the multiplier.
- Decide whether to secure the win or continue. While the chicken is standing on a tile, you can collect a win calculated from your play amount and that tile’s value. Another jump may raise the multiplier, but a broken tile or a car hit ends the round.
Stake.us puts the choice this way on its official game page: “Secure your win at any point to collect a win amount equal to your play multiplied by the value of the tile where the chicken is standing!” Stake.us Chicken game page
What do the difficulty settings change?
Stake.us says difficulty affects volatility: higher difficulty brings more risk and allows larger potential multipliers. The official pages do not provide a complete numerical breakdown of jump probabilities or mode-specific multipliers, so there is no reliable basis here for comparing the four modes by exact odds.
| Mode | Risk and potential multiplier |
|---|---|
| Easy | Lower difficulty relative to the harder modes; exact odds and multiplier are not stated on the official pages. |
| Medium | Difficulty is between Easy and the harder modes; exact odds and multiplier are not stated on the official pages. |
| Hard | Higher difficulty means more risk and a larger potential multiplier than lower-difficulty play; exact values are not stated on the official pages. |
| Extra Hard | Highest named difficulty; the operator says higher difficulty brings more risk and larger potential multipliers, but gives no exact mode-specific values on the official pages. |
These descriptions reflect Stake.us’s published comparison, not independently verified odds. A higher potential multiplier is not a prediction of what a round will pay.

What are RTP and maximum win?
Stake.us lists Chicken at 98.00% RTP and a 2.00% house edge. Those are operator-published game figures; the game page does not state a publication year or provide a dated statistical study. RTP is not a promise that an individual player or a short session will get back 98% of their play.
The operator also lists a maximum win of 181,060.88 times the play amount. This is a published ceiling, not a typical result or an expected outcome. Stake.us Chicken game page and Stake.us guide to playing Chicken

What do Auto Mode and Provably Fair mean here?
The game page lists Auto Mode settings for total play amount, volatility, jumps per round, number of rounds, win and loss limits, and percentage changes to the play amount after wins or losses. These controls automate settings and decisions; they do not predict random outcomes or guarantee a win.
Stake.us labels Chicken “Provably Fair” and says an RNG makes each result unpredictable. The retrieved Chicken pages do not explain the verification procedure, so this is the operator’s claim rather than an independently verified assessment. Stake.us Chicken game page

No. Stake.us lists demo mode as unavailable for Chicken, so the official game page does not offer a demo round. Stake.us Chicken game page
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How should you choose when to stop?
Every decision to continue trades the chance of a higher multiplier for the risk that the round ends on the next jump. Set limits that fit your budget before starting, and treat Auto Mode’s win, loss and play-amount controls as ways to enforce settings—not as a strategy for overcoming randomness. No difficulty setting or cash-out timing guarantees a profit.
