What is Alien Week in Star Citizen?
Alien Week is an annual celebration of alien cultures, ships, and human recreations in Star Citizen, held around First Contact Day—the in-universe commemoration of humanity’s first interaction with the Banu. The 2023 event highlighted the Banu, Tevarin, Xi’an, and Vanduul. Roberts Space Industries’ event page describes it as a chance for the community to embrace the galaxy’s alien life and history.
When was Alien Week 2023?
A contemporaneous event guide lists the dates as June 15–26, 2023. Start Star Citizen’s Alien Week guide notes that the real-world celebration does not necessarily begin on June 12, the in-universe First Contact Day; its timing can shift to leave room around Invictus Launch Week.
For context, RSI said Invictus Launch Week 2953 ran May 19–30 and included a special Free Fly. That calendar information does not establish a Free Fly for Alien Week. RSI’s May 15, 2023 weekly update covers the Invictus dates.

Alien Week’s subject included alien-made ships as well as human recreations of alien designs. However, the available event information does not provide a complete ship-by-ship offer list, so it is not possible to reliably name every vehicle that was offered during the 2023 promotion or say which species or manufacturer each offer represented.

Was there an Alien Week Free Fly?
The cited Alien Week information does not confirm a Free Fly during the event. Invictus Launch Week’s special Free Fly was a separate promotion that ran in May; its existence does not show that Alien Week had one.

RSI says featured vehicles “may become available in future events, such as Invictus Launch Week and the Intergalactic Aerospace Expo.” That is a possibility, not a promise that any particular ship will return.
