There are no missable trophies reported by the current specialist guides, but the PS5 Platinum is a substantial skill-and-grind completion. Plan for an Act 3 clear on Champion difficulty, repeat Galactic Gauntlet wins with every required Favor, Racer Style, and vehicle type, then Gold medals in all 50 Arcade events. PowerPyx estimates 70–100 hours and rates the Platinum 8/10; those are guide estimates, not measured averages. The game launched October 6, 2026, so route and save advice may change with patches.
Are any trophies or achievements missable?
PowerPyx and AllThingsHow report zero missable trophies or achievements, and both also report that no online trophies or achievements are required. These are specialist-guide findings, not an official developer guarantee. PlayStation lists online features and PvP, but that alone does not make online play a completion requirement. For a PS5-specific contingency, PowerPyx describes using PlayStation Plus cloud saves for recovery and says quitting during an active race returns you to its start, while completed events save immediately. Treat that as a guide-reported tactic, not a guarantee: cloud-save synchronization and behavior can depend on settings and the current game build.
How difficult and time-consuming is the Platinum?
PowerPyx rates the PS5 Platinum 8/10 and estimates 70–100 hours, describing the total as dependent on skill and luck. Its main difficulty is earning Gold in every Arcade trial. AllThingsHow estimates 40–60 hours for campaign cleanup and 15–30 hours for Arcade; these stage estimates are planning ranges from a guide, not a population-wide completion study.

The counts differ by platform: AllThingsHow lists 50 PS5 trophies including the Platinum and 49 Xbox/PC achievements. Steam confirms achievement support on PC. Check the relevant platform list rather than assuming the PS5 trophy count applies everywhere.
What order should you complete the requirements in?
1. Finish the campaign once and unlock Champion
Use the first campaign clear to learn the runs-based structure and unlock Champion difficulty. The guides report that Tuning Points and unlocked Favors, Parts, Abilities, and Racer Styles carry into later runs, so progression from the first clear supports subsequent cleanup.

2. Complete Act 3 on Champion
The difficulty-specific requirement is to complete Act 3 on Champion, which the guides say becomes available after an initial Campaign completion. Champion increases opponent skill and aggression. PowerPyx reports that crashes do not refresh after each event; three are refreshed when reaching a new planet, making crash management more restrictive than on lower difficulty.
3. Master the Galactic Gauntlet with a tracked checklist
Gauntlet cleanup requires victories using all 20 Favors, all 14 Racer Styles, and all three vehicle types. The guides say three Favors can be equipped per run, so covering all 20 requires at least seven Favor combinations. Each Racer Style needs its own winning run, giving a minimum of 14 Gauntlet wins for the Style requirement. Where a run can advance more than one unfinished category, plan the loadout to do so and check the Logbook’s “Mastered” tracking.

PowerPyx recommends repeating Act 2 as a faster cleanup loop: the Galactic Gauntlet appears before the final event, so after winning it, intentionally lose the Kestar Bool finale to return to Act 2. Because this is a guide strategy for a newly released game, confirm that the loop still works on your current version before building your route around it.
4. Finish the remaining campaign-specific tasks
PowerPyx lists 12 Tales of Podracing events and 11 Rivalry Head-to-Head wins among cleanup tasks. Its route advice is to use sidebets to develop rivals and watch for Mystery Encounters and the required Favor availability. Track unfinished tasks as you go rather than assuming the Champion or Gauntlet runs complete them automatically.

5. Earn Gold in all Arcade events
All 50 Arcade events require Gold for the PS5 Platinum route described by PowerPyx. These trials use preset vehicles, and PowerPyx identifies them as the hardest portion: success depends on learning the route and using available abilities and parts effectively. AllThingsHow suggests leaving Arcade until you are more comfortable with the tracks and vehicle handling.

The official game site lists PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC; Steam’s listing confirms the PC release and achievements. The Platinum route applies to PS5, while Xbox and PC use achievement lists. Steam lists single-player, online PvP, and cross-platform multiplayer; PlayStation describes a solo story campaign alongside PvP modes.

On PS5, the official PlayStation page lists adjustable difficulty, remappable controller presets, adjustable stick sensitivity, and the option to play without vibration or adaptive-trigger effects. These settings can help tailor controls and challenge while learning the courses. The game features landspeeders, speeder bikes, skim speeders, and podracers in the Galactic League.
