Creative director Julian Gerighty’s pre-release estimate was 25–30 hours for the “golden path” and 50–60 hours for completionists. The statement is reproduced in a Reddit community post, rather than established here through a primary interview. Treat it as a design target, not a measured average or a guaranteed finish time. Exploring, doing optional activities, and playing at a different pace can change an individual run’s length.

Does Star Wars Outlaws have cross-save?
Ubisoft says players can carry saves and progression between platforms through a Ubisoft Connect account. Its Switch 2 FAQ expressly confirms cross-progression through Ubisoft Connect. This is a progression feature, not a statement that one purchase includes copies for other platforms; the cited pages do not promise that a single purchase grants multiple platform versions. Can I manually save?
The official PlayStation 5 product page lists manual saving as a feature. That confirms the feature for the PS5 listing; it does not establish identical save behavior on every platform.

If I download the free demo, do I keep the game?
No. Ubisoft describes the offer as a demo capped at three hours, and says demo progress does not transfer to the full game. It samples Tatooine content, including the first quest, exploration, and some side activities; it does not grant the full game. Details are in Ubisoft’s Demo FAQ and current game page.

No. Ubisoft identifies the Switch 2 edition as a Game-Key Card: download and install the game over the internet, then keep the card inserted to play. Ubisoft’s FAQ says the Switch 2 game includes both story packs. The card should not be treated as containing all game data. See the Switch 2 Release FAQ.
