When did Star Wars Outlaws launch?
Ubisoft’s FAQ gives the launch date as August 30, 2024, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. StarWars.com also reported the game available on those platforms on August 30.

The date was the headline launch date, not necessarily the local calendar date or clock time shown to every player. The schedule below was reported for the 2024 launch and should not be treated as a current storefront unlock guarantee.
Reported 2024 release times by platform and region
PC Gamer’s August 27, 2024 release-time guide described console access as unlocking at midnight local time. It reported PC unlocks by region instead. The city examples below are that guide’s reported times, not a universal rule for every account or storefront.

The listed dates and times are PC Gamer’s contemporaneous 2024 examples. They show why a game with an August 30 launch date could appear to unlock on August 29 in some places. If a city, account, or storefront is not covered by those examples, do not extrapolate an exact hour; use the platform’s displayed unlock time.
Who could play early?
Ubisoft’s August 5, 2024 roadmap announcement said that Gold Edition and Ultimate Edition owners, as well as Ubisoft+ Premium subscribers, could access the game up to three days early, beginning August 27. That offer did not apply to every edition or subscription tier. PC Gamer noted that local calendars could show the early-access date as August 26 or 27, depending on time zone.

What to check if your unlock time differs
- Confirm the platform and storefront for the copy you intended to play; the reported schedule distinguished consoles from PC.
- Check the unlock countdown or release time displayed by that storefront for your account rather than assuming every regional example applies to it.
- If you expected early access, confirm that your edition or Ubisoft+ subscription was one of the qualifying options Ubisoft named.
Ubisoft’s FAQ also says an internet connection is required to install the game and receive updates, although it can otherwise be played offline.

No later-platform timing should be inferred from the 2024 guide. Ubisoft’s current store listing includes Switch 2 among its platform fields, but the cited release-time schedule concerns the 2024 launch, not a later platform’s release. Check the relevant storefront for any platform-specific timing.
