Events, mastery, and farm life
- New events and festivals: The three-day Desert Festival, Trout Derby, and SquidFest add seasonal activities.
- Mastery: A new area unlocks a mastery system with powerful perks and items.
- Meadowlands Farm: This farm starts with a coop and two chickens, and features blue grass favored by animals.
- More pet interactions: After reaching maximum hearts with the starter pet, players can have multiple pets. Pets that love the player may also bring gifts.
New crops, equipment, and home changes
- Four crops were added: carrots, summer squash, broccoli, and powdermelon. The update also added two new giant crops.
- New equipment includes the Big Chest, Dehydrator, Mushroom Log, Bait Maker, Heavy Furnace, Fish Smoker, Anvil, and Mini-Forge.
- Home renovations and tent kits are among the other additions.
Dialogue and navigation
- NPCs gained more dialogue, including dynamic reactions and restored lines.
- A world map for Ginger Island was added, and the map reflects the player’s position in real time.
