The official Stardew Valley crossover was a limited-time event inside Infinity Nikki Version 1.9, not a confirmed new mode or update for Stardew Valley. It ran from September 2, 2025, at 13:00 to September 28, 2025, at 12:49 (UTC−7). That event period has ended.
What was the Stardew Valley and Infinity Nikki crossover?
Announced in August 2025, the collaboration brought a Stardew Valley-themed encounter to Infinity Nikki as part of Version 1.9, titled “Music Season.” The official update described “a new friend from Stardew Valley” arriving at Nikki’s home. Infinity Nikki’s Version 1.9 update notice presented it as in-game collaboration content for Infinity Nikki.

The official Infinity Nikki channel described the announcement as an “official collaboration with the beloved Stardew Valley!” The notices reviewed establish the event in Infinity Nikki; they do not establish that Stardew Valley received a game update.

The rollout date and the event’s unlock time were different: the collaboration itself unlocked the day after the announced Version 1.9 rollout. The event was available only for the stated limited period.

What did players need to do, and what were the rewards?
Players first had to complete the world quest “Life in a Warm Place” to unlock the event. The official notice said this quest required gameplay across multiple days, so it was not an instant unlock.
Completing the collaboration adventure awarded furniture themed around the crossover and a three-star outfit named “Stardew Valley Encounter.” These were Infinity Nikki in-game rewards; the event notice does not describe them as items obtainable by buying or playing Stardew Valley.

The documented event ended on September 28, 2025. The official event materials reviewed do not announce a rerun, so current access to the outfit and collaboration furniture is not established. Do not assume the event or its rewards are still available.
Buying Stardew Valley is an optional way to explore the game behind the crossover, not a way to claim the expired Infinity Nikki rewards. The official Stardew Valley press page identifies Eric Barone (ConcernedApe) as the game’s creator and lists Nintendo Switch among its supported platforms; it does not establish a current retailer offer.
