Xbox Series X graphics and frame-rate options
On Xbox Series X, the update adds settings to prioritize visuals or performance, choose a frame-rate target, and toggle VSync. The target choices Bethesda lists depend on the display setup:
| Display setup | Frame-rate targets listed by Bethesda |
|---|---|
| 120 Hz display with VRR | 30, 40, 60, or uncapped |
| Without a 120 Hz VRR display | 30 or 60 |
Bethesda recommends a Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) display running at 120 Hz for access to the fuller set of options. These are selectable targets, not measured results: the patch notes do not report benchmarked frame rates or resolution comparisons for each mode.
