What is known about the Starfield Warthog mod?
Two Reddit search-result titles point to a Warthog-themed Starfield vehicle: “Halo Warthog! Now with working turret.” and “Halo warthog mod for Starfield.” The pages were not available for detailed inspection, so these titles establish community discussion, but not the mod’s author, current files, installation steps, platform support, or whether it replaces the REV-8 or adds a separate vehicle.

That distinction matters before installing: a replacement and a standalone vehicle can behave differently in a save and may have different requirements. Treat the Warthog claim as a community-reported lead, and use the mod’s current page for the exact file, compatibility notes, and instructions.
Other REV-8 mods show what vehicle changes can look like
Several separately documented Nexus Mods projects modify or add REV-8 variants. They offer useful context for the kinds of changes modders make, but none of the listings below is evidence that the project is the Warthog conversion.

What to verify before installing a Warthog conversion
Mod pages and files can change, so check the exact listing rather than assuming details from a post title or from another REV-8 mod. Confirm:
- Whether the download replaces the existing REV-8 or adds a standalone vehicle.
- Which Starfield version and platform the author supports; available evidence does not establish support across all platforms.
- Whether it changes driving, boost, wheels, suspension, traction, or turret behavior—and whether each feature is actually documented for this mod.
- Any dependencies, DLC requirements, load-order guidance, and save-game cautions stated by the author.
- The current file version and update date, then follow the installation instructions on that page.
Do not transfer compatibility or performance claims from REV-8-Pro, REV-8 RI, or the infinite-boost mod to the Warthog project. Each is a separate listing with its own files and instructions.
