The Steam Autumn Sale 2025 ran from September 29 through October 6, 2025, and is no longer active. GamesRadar+’s ten picks offer a useful retrospective guide to the games highlighted during the event—not a Valve ranking or a list of deals available today. When did the Steam Autumn Sale 2025 end?
Valve’s Steam News announcement says the sale ended October 6, 2025, at 10 a.m. PT. The event also included a 20% discount on Steam Deck 256GB LCD models, which ended at the same time. That is a historical offer, not evidence of the handheld’s current price or availability.

GamesRadar+ published the following editorial selection, numbered in its original order. The prices are historical USD sale prices, not current offers, and the ordering is not a cross-store value ranking. How should you read these historical prices?
These figures describe sale-period USD prices reported by GamesRadar+, not a guarantee of what every regional Steam account saw. GamesRadar+’s numbered order reflects its editorial choices. PC Gamer’s contemporaneous sale guide used a different lens, highlighting games at historical-low prices, newly released games, or titles its editors recommended at any price. Neither approach makes a universal ranking of the best deal for every player.
Discount size alone does not establish value: a lower price or a larger percentage off does not tell you whether a game fits your tastes or play style. Treat the prices as a record of the 2025 event rather than a current buying guide.
Other examples from the sale
The event’s discounts extended beyond GamesRadar+’s ten picks. In a Steam-hosted announcement, 2K listed Civilization VII at 30% off, Mafia Trilogy at 80% off, Risk of Rain 2 at 67% off, and BioShock: The Collection at 80% off. 2K said those discounts were calculated from its suggested retail prices and ended October 6 at 10 a.m. PST.
