Steam Replay 2025 is an archived recap of your Steam gaming activity from January 1 through December 14, 2025—not a full calendar-year record. Sign in to Steam and open your personalized Replay page from the Steam website or client; its banner or placement may have changed since the December 2025 launch.
How to find your Steam Replay
Steam Replay is a free account feature, not a separate game or paid product. In mid-December 2025, Steam made each user’s recap available through the website and Steam client. The recap can also be viewed on Steam Deck, but you do not need a Deck—or any other purchase—to see it.
- Sign in to the Steam account whose activity you want to review.
- Open Steam’s website or client and look for the Steam Replay page or a Replay link in the current interface. The launch banner may no longer appear now that the seasonal feature has passed.
- Review your personalized recap. If you have multiple Steam accounts, check that you are signed into the account you intend to view.
Contemporaneous coverage placed the 2025 release in mid-December. GameSpot reported availability on December 16, 2025, while Radio Times said it was available December 17; the one-day difference may reflect reporting or local availability. ( GameSpot; Radio Times )
What stats does Steam Replay 2025 show?
The core of the recap is the games you played and your recorded playtime. Reports on the 2025 edition also describe stats such as most-played games, achievements, genres, longest streak, and breakdowns by device or input method. The exact fields can vary, so not every account or edition should be expected to show an identical set.
For context, Valve’s official description of the 2024 edition listed games played, comparisons with the previous year, achievements, longest streak, playtime by month and device, game-type graphs, sharing, and Steam Family playtime for members. Valve called that edition “Steam Year In Review” as well as “Steam Replay”; the name Steam Replay returned for that edition. Those 2024 details explain the feature’s history, but do not establish that every view carried over unchanged to 2025. (Valve / Steam News)

What period does the 2025 recap cover?
Reporting on Steam Replay 2025 gives its activity window as January 1 through December 14, 2025. It therefore excludes activity after December 14, including the rest of December; it is not a complete January-to-December tally. (GameSpot)
Why is some playtime missing?
Steam Replay should be read as a recap of activity Steam recorded for its reporting window, not a complete log of every gaming session. Coverage of the 2025 edition says the recap may leave out:
Rank #2
- Playtime while offline or disconnected.
- Unreleased games and preloads.
- Prerelease versions.
- Games that are disabled.
- Activity after December 14, 2025.
A discrepancy by itself does not identify which exclusion, if any, explains it. The reported limitations do not establish the cause of a particular account’s missing time. (GameSpot)

No. A Steam Deck is an optional handheld for playing Steam games. Steam Replay belongs to your Steam account and can be accessed through Steam’s website or client; Deck access is an additional way to view it, not a requirement. Device-related statistics describe recorded play activity, not a prerequisite for getting a recap. (Windows Central; Radio Times)
