Steam Replay is Valve’s annual recap of your Steam activity. The latest edition covered by the available reporting is the 2025 Replay; there is no verified announcement or release date for a 2026 edition as of October 8, 2026.
What Steam Replay shows
Steam Replay summarizes what you played and how your playtime was distributed. Valve introduced it in December 2022 as a way to look back at your top games and when you spent the most time playing (Valve’s 2022 announcement).

The panels have changed across editions. Valve’s 2024 announcement listed playtime by month and device, achievements, longest streak, genre graphs, Steam Family playtime, and options for sharing the recap on and off Steam (Valve’s 2024 announcement). Windows Central’s guide to the 2025 edition also described games played, most-played games and genres, achievement totals, and comparisons with other Steam users (Windows Central’s 2025 guide). A particular panel or statistic is not guaranteed to appear in every annual edition.
How to find your 2025 Steam Replay
The steps below describe the 2025 interface, rather than a guaranteed route for future editions.

In a browser
- Open Steam’s homepage while signed in.
- Click the banner labeled “Review your Year on Steam.”
- Scroll through the recap to view its results.
On Steam Deck
- Open the Store.
- Select More and look for the Replay feature.
Windows Central noted that if the banner was missing on Steam Deck, the handheld might need a software update. You do not need to own a Deck to view Steam Replay; it is an account feature, and the 2025 guide also described browser access.
What time period does the 2025 recap cover?
Windows Central reported that the 2025 Replay included activity from January 1 through December 14, 2025. That date range applies to that edition only and should not be assumed for a later recap. The guide also reported that Steam playtime recorded while offline was not included, which can make the Replay’s totals differ from your own recollection.
How does your year compare with other Steam users?
PC Gamer reported that 14% of Steam users’ playtime in the 2025 Replay went to games released in 2025. The same report gave historical same-year-release shares of 17% for 2022, 9% for 2023, and 15% for 2024 (PC Gamer’s report).

These are aggregate figures reported from Steam Replay, not a statement about any individual player’s habits. PC Gamer noted that Valve does not publish its exact calculation for the statistic, so the percentages do not establish how the underlying data was filtered or calculated.

No verified 2026 Steam Replay announcement, launch date, or activity window is established as of October 8, 2026. The 2025 edition is the latest one covered by the cited information. Check Steam’s own announcements for a future edition rather than assuming the 2025 dates or interface will carry over.
