Those were historical US Steam prices—not offers confirmed to be available now.
What were the Steam Spring Sale 2025 prices?
A March 18, 2025 Mashable deal report, republished by Yahoo, listed these US Steam prices:
| Game | Reported sale price (US, March 18, 2025) | Previously listed price | Reported discount |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hogwarts Legacy | $14.99 | $59.99 | 75% off |
| Diablo IV | $27.49 | $49.99 | 45% off |
| Baldur’s Gate 3 | $47.99 | $59.99 | 20% off |
Source for the prices and listed original prices: Mashable’s March 18 report, republished by Yahoo. The percentages are calculated from the two prices in that report. These figures describe the US offers reported on that date; they are not official archived regional price records or current prices.
When did the sale run?
Steam’s official March 13 announcement said, “The Steam Spring Sale is on now through March 20th at 10am PT!” That puts the event’s end at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time on March 20, 2025. A contemporaneous publisher post also gave the March 13–20 window.

How to read these discounts
The three reported prices offer a snapshot of selected games during one point in the sale, not a guarantee that every game was discounted or that the same offer applied in every region or edition. Steam describes seasonal sales as potentially covering any kind of game, while its Steamworks discount guidance says eligible games released at least 30 days before an event may participate in a discount. That general eligibility rule does not confirm a specific game’s participation or price.
For this historical comparison, Hogwarts Legacy had the largest reported percentage discount of the three. Baldur’s Gate 3 had the smallest percentage discount, while its reported price remained the highest. The comparison is limited to the US prices in the March 18 report.
