When did the 2026 Steam Summer Sale end?
Valve’s official event listing gives the 2026 Steam Summer Sale dates as June 25–July 9. It is no longer running. Steamworks also lists the 2026 Autumn Sale for October 1–8. Valve’s Steamworks schedule describes four seasonal sale events per year; the Steam Promotions listing records the Summer Sale dates.
Are Death Stranding and Balatro on sale now?

How Steam discounts and sale notifications work
Valve says all released games can participate in sales, but an event does not guarantee that every game will be discounted. Discounts of 20% or more trigger an email notification to users who have wishlisted the game. A game’s placement in Steam’s special sale sections can depend on factors including tags, popularity, and recommendations. Details are in Steamworks’ discount documentation.
If you wishlist a game, Steam can notify you when it goes on sale. Steam Support also says discounts cannot be applied retroactively to purchases made before a sale or to purchases made after it ends; see Steam’s sale and wishlist FAQ.
