For the week of January 28–February 4, 2025, SteamDB ranked Counter-Strike 2 first and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II second on its weekly revenue chart. Three games whose listed release dates were still ahead on February 2 appeared in the top nine: Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Sid Meier’s Civilization VII, and Monster Hunter Wilds.
What the Steam chart shows for February 2
The date needs a qualification: SteamDB’s archived chart covers the full interval January 28–February 4, 2025, rather than recording a rank at a particular time on February 2. SteamDB describes it as “Top selling games on Steam by revenue for the week.” Its chart provides ranks, not revenue amounts. View the SteamDB weekly chart.

- Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was rank 2, with a listed release date of February 4.
- Sid Meier’s Civilization VII was rank 5, with a listed release date of February 10.
- Monster Hunter Wilds was rank 9, with a listed release date of February 28.
The chart establishes their placement and listed dates, but does not say whether a ranking was driven by preorders, advance access, or another purchase mechanism. It also gives no sales totals, so rank alone cannot show how many copies or how much revenue each game generated.
Why Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was already near the top
SteamDB’s archive confirms that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II ranked second in the weekly revenue chart despite its listed February 4 release date falling after February 2. The chart does not explain the reason for that placement or specify how purchases made before release were counted. It therefore supports the ranking, not a claim about preorder volume, buyer interest, or the cause of the game’s position.

What else stood out in the rankings?
Counter-Strike 2 was first, ahead of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II in second. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 ranked third, but its listed release date was January 30, so it was not an unreleased game on February 2. Steam Deck ranked sixth, making it the hardware entry in the chart. SteamDB says all times on its site are UTC; the archive’s weekly interval should not be mistaken for a separate daily snapshot.
