Stellar Blade’s holiday event was announced to arrive on December 17, 2024, with Christmas decorations in Xion, seasonal camp music, a new mini-game and themed cosmetics. When did the Stellar Blade holiday event start?
Shift Up’s DongKi Lee, identified as the game’s CTO and technical director, announced the event on the PlayStation Blog on December 16, 2024, with an arrival date of December 17, 2024. Holiday decorations in Xion
Xion’s city square was set to receive a Christmas tree, warm lights and other holiday decorations. The Last Gulp was also to be decorated for the season.
Seasonal music at camp
The announcement named two tracks for the camp: “Dawn (Winter)” and “Take me away.”

A mini-game was announced for Xion, with rewards for completing it. Lee described it as “a break from survival struggles,” but the post does not explain its rules or specify all reward locations.
Which holiday costumes and cosmetics were announced?
The announcement named these seasonal cosmetics:
- Eve: Santa Dress, Santa Girl hairstyle, Snow Crystal Glasses, Wreath Earrings and Sleigh Ear Cuffs.
- Adam: I’m No Santa costume.
- Drone: Rudolph Pack.
Could players turn seasonal content on or off?
Yes. The announcement said an On/Off feature was added for seasonal events and NieR:Automata DLC content. It did not provide a menu path or say what the default setting was, so the post alone cannot guide you to the control in a current game version.
