To lower the water in Eidos 7’s Flooded Commercial Sector, start the Oblivion side mission in Xion, return to Eidos 7, cross above the electrified water using the side ledges, and activate the flood-control terminal in the building beyond. The water level drops and exposes lower routes, including access to Warehouse 77—but electrified water remains at the lowest point.
Unlock the Oblivion side mission
The flood-control device is part of Oblivion, so you must first progress through the Wasteland and Altess Levoire objectives. Then return to Xion and speak to the child near the entrance to receive the Request Letter and begin the mission. GameSpot’s walkthrough and Game8’s Oblivion guide describe this quest gate.

Return to the Flooded Commercial Sector
- Travel with Adam back to Eidos 7.
- Select the Plaza Entryway waypoint and head back to the Flooded Commercial Sector.
- Track Oblivion if you need the quest marker to guide you toward the objective.
Cross to the flood controls
The water is hazardous, so do not try to wade through it. Use the wall indentations and side ledges to move across the sector above the water, heading toward the adjacent street and the control building. Gamepressure’s route guide describes the ledge crossing and warns that electrified water remains at the bottom even after drainage.
Activate the terminal and explore what opens
At the building on the far side, interact with the flood-control terminal—the sewage-device controls—to activate the drainage mechanism. The water level drops across the Commercial Sector, revealing lower routes and access to Warehouse 77. The in-game Request Letter, transcribed in the Gamer Guides database, connects the task with draining the plaza and investigating Warehouse 77.

Once the level has fallen, explore the newly accessible area while continuing to avoid the remaining electrified water at the lowest point. GameSpot lists the Elixir Carrot can, Cryo Original can, and Wasteland Adventurer outfit among discoveries in the area. It also reports that completing Oblivion rewards two each of Pulse Grenades, Shock Grenades, and Smart Mines.
