Stellar Blade PC requirements at a glance
Sony publishes four hardware tiers. The current PlayStation PC page lists the minimum and recommended tiers; Sony’s May 15, 2025 launch article supplies the High and Very High tiers. Can your PC run Stellar Blade?
Compare your exact CPU and GPU models with Sony’s list, then check the storage, RAM and Windows requirements. A similar model name is not enough to infer identical performance, and the published tiers do not provide laptop-specific benchmarks. A laptop’s GPU performance can differ from that of a desktop card with a similar name.

- For the minimum tier: Sony’s listed target is 1080p, Low and 60 FPS with the minimum-tier hardware.
- For recommended: Sony lists 1440p, Medium and 60 FPS, with the stronger listed GPU and an SSD.
- For higher presets: The High tier keeps the 1440p/60 FPS target; Very High is listed for 4K/60 FPS with an RTX 3080 or RX 7900 XT.
Sony does not publish a benchmark method with these targets, so treat them as configuration guidance rather than a promise that your system will hold 60 FPS in every scene or setting.

What the storage and memory requirements mean
All four tiers list 16 GB of RAM and 75 GB of storage. The storage type is the main difference: Sony supports an HDD at minimum and recommends an SSD even there; the recommended tier and above call for an SSD. If you install on an HDD, you meet the stated minimum storage type, but not Sony’s SSD recommendation.
PC features that can affect how you play
Sony says the PC version supports NVIDIA DLSS 4 resolution scaling and frame generation, NVIDIA DLAA image enhancement, NVIDIA Reflex latency reduction and AMD FSR 3. The frame rate can be unlocked. These are supported features, not substitutes for the hardware listed in the requirements.

Sony’s launch article also describes aspect-ratio support from 5:4 to 32:9 and high-resolution background textures, including a 4K texture option. Such options may affect the experience or resource demands, but the published system-requirements table does not specify a separate hardware tier for them.

Controller support
A controller is optional. Sony lists DualSense wireless controller support on its PC page; its launch article says haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are supported and that a wired connection is required to use all DualSense features. [PlayStation PC page] [PlayStation Blog feature details]
