Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsKeep Stencil Parts when you intend to apply weapon stencils. The ARC Raiders Wiki lists them as an Epic Basic Material used for weapon stencils and says they cannot be recycled or salvaged, so scrapping them produces no components. If your stash is crowded and cosmetics are not a priority, Stencil Parts are a reasonable candidate for removal only after you have reserved materials needed for active quests, projects and station upgrades. There is no evidence for a universal “keep this many” threshold; your decision should follow your stencil plans, stash cost and the opportunity value of other materials.
What Stencil Parts are and what they are not
Stencil Parts are a dedicated cosmetic-use material, not a general source of metal, chemicals or other components. The ARC Raiders Wiki classifies them as an Epic Basic Material and describes their purpose as applying stencils to weapons. That classification does not mean they are interchangeable with every other Epic or Basic item. Their use is narrow, and their inventory behavior is unusual because the item entry says recycling and salvaging are unavailable.

| Property | Reported value | How to use that information |
|---|---|---|
| Rarity/category | Epic Basic Material | Do not assume the rarity predicts a recycle return or recipe demand. |
| Primary use | Applying weapon stencils | Keep a reserve if you regularly customize weapons. |
| Stack size | 500 | A full stack can cover many applications, but it still occupies stash space as an item stack. |
| Weight | 0.1 | Its reported carried weight is low; stash capacity, rather than backpack weight, is usually the practical constraint. |
| Value | 1 | This is the item value shown by the wiki entry, not evidence that selling is always optimal. |
| Crafting recipe | None reported | There is no listed recipe for manufacturing more Stencil Parts. |
| Recycle/salvage | Cannot be recycled or salvaged | Removing them does not create a component payout through those systems. |
| Reported loot categories | Commercial, Residential and Industrial | These are search categories, not a guaranteed map, container or drop rate. |
| Patch history | Added in patch 2.0, Frozen Trail | Item behavior can change with later balance or content updates. |

- Find or earn a stencil. A stencil may come from raid activity or from a paid content source listed by the guide.
- Learn it out of raid. The guide describes learning the item outside a raid before it becomes available for application.
- Open the inventory interface and select a compatible weapon. Choose the learned stencil from the relevant customization control.
- Confirm the application. The reported cost is deducted when the stencil is applied to that weapon.
Each application is tied to one weapon. Applying the same design to another copy of a weapon requires another application and another payment of Stencil Parts. Learning a stencil therefore does not create an unlimited account-wide coating for every copy.
Reported costs by stencil rarity
| Stencil rarity | Reported Stencil Parts cost per application | Named example in the guide |
|---|---|---|
| Common or uncommon | 2 | Verdigris is presented as an example; its rarity is inferred from its cost. |
| Rare | 4 | No named example supplied. |
| Epic | 7 | Fortuna |
| Legendary | 15 | Serac |
These are examples reported by the 8 October 2026 Arc Raiders Hub guide, which says it is still being updated and draws on in-game tooltips and early-access creator videos. They should not be read as a complete price list for every stencil or as proof that every compatibility entry has been independently confirmed. If a tooltip in your build shows a different amount, use the tooltip.
How many stencils exist?
The same guide reports 14 stencils confirmed in launch patch notes: eight found Topside, five exclusive to the Frozen Trail Premium Pass and one exclusive to the Collector DLC. The guide explicitly says its names and locations are incomplete. This is a guide-reported count, not an independently verified total of every stencil available in the live game. It is useful for understanding why a cosmetic-focused player may want a reserve, but it cannot justify a universal stockpile number.
Should you keep or remove Stencil Parts?
Use your intended cosmetic spending as the first test. If you have a stencil you want to apply, or you routinely change weapon appearances, keep enough for the next applications you can realistically make. The reported prices range from two parts for common or uncommon examples to 15 for a legendary example, so a single small stack can cover several low-rarity uses while disappearing quickly if you repeatedly apply high-rarity designs.
Keep them when
- You have a learned stencil waiting for a compatible weapon.
- You expect to apply the same design to multiple weapon copies.
- You are collecting cosmetics and do not have a more urgent use for the stash slot.
- Your current build makes the reported Commercial, Residential or Industrial loot categories easy to revisit.
Consider removing them when
- You do not use weapon stencils and need the space for a confirmed quest, project or station-upgrade requirement.
- You have compared the item’s low listed value with the immediate value of another material you would otherwise discard.
- You are carrying a surplus that cannot be converted through recycling or salvage and is blocking a higher-priority pickup.
There is no established number such as “keep 50” or “keep one stack.” The correct reserve depends on the designs you use, their application costs and how quickly you can reacquire the item. A player who only applies an occasional common stencil has a different reserve requirement from a player who puts a legendary design on several weapon copies.

How to judge every other crafting material
Rarity and the generic “crafting material” label are poor disposal rules. Inspect each item and answer five questions before recycling or selling it:
- What recipes use it? Open the item’s recipe references and identify equipment, tools or consumables you actually intend to build.
- Is it required now? Check active quests, projects and workshop or station upgrades. Reserve the quantity shown by the current requirement before considering any surplus.
- What does recycling or salvaging return? Confirm the displayed output on that individual item. Some materials have no recycle path at all.
- What is the vendor value? Compare the sale value with the practical value of the components a recycle action would produce.
- How scarce is it? Consider where it is found and how easily you can reacquire it on your normal routes. A low-value item that is needed for a rare upgrade may be more important than a high-rarity item with no active use.
This process separates two questions that are often confused: “Can the item be recycled?” and “Do I need the item’s recipe?” A material can be non-recyclable and still be essential for crafting.

Examples of why item-by-item checks matter
Progression-linked ARC materials
The fan-made Arc Raiders AI Recycling Guide, updated 6 October 2026, recommends preserving several progression-linked materials, including ARC Alloy, Tick Pods, ARC Circuitry, Bastion Cells and Chemicals. That is a third-party recommendation, not an official universal reserve. Check your own project and item pages first: if an upgrade currently asks for one of these materials, reserve that amount; if it does not, evaluate the surplus using the same recipe, return, value and scarcity tests.
Rubber Parts
An ARC Raiders Hub database entry lists Rubber Parts as a common Basic Material that cannot be recycled. The entry nevertheless shows Rubber Parts in recipes for binoculars, Combat Mk. 1, Door Blocker, Looting Mk. 1, Remote Raider Flare and Tactical Mk. 1. Throwing them away solely because the recycle button is unavailable would ignore their recipe role. Before discarding a non-recyclable material, inspect the equipment you are planning to craft and your active progression requirements.
Weapons and shields
The recycling guide offers a broad weapon rule: recycle common-rarity weapons when materials are needed, keep uncommon and higher, and sell an item when its material return is less valuable than its vendor price. This is a starting heuristic, not a permanent law. A common weapon needed for a quest, a weapon you have not unlocked for a project, or a weapon with a better immediate sale value may deserve a different action. Read the item’s current prompts before confirming.

What to prioritize when your backpack or stash is full
The Arc Raiders AI guide proposes this order for a full backpack:
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →| Priority | Category | Reported examples | Decision use |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | ARC materials | ARC Alloy, ARC Circuitry, Bastion Cells | Protect these first when they are tied to progression or difficult to replace. |
| 2 | Advanced materials | Wires, Steel Springs, Chemicals | Check active recipes and upgrades before discarding. |
| 3 | Basic materials | Metal Parts, Plastic Parts, Fabric | Keep only what your near-term recipes and projects justify when capacity is constrained. |
| 4 | Consumables | Current consumable items | Balance immediate raid utility against the value of a needed material. |
| 5 | Common weapons or shields | Common-rarity equipment | Compare recycle return, sale value and quest use before dropping. |
The hierarchy is a fan-guide recommendation, not an official inventory rule. Stencil Parts do not fit neatly into a “recycle for components” tier because their reported recycle and salvage actions are unavailable. Place them according to your cosmetic plans and the value of the slot they occupy, then apply the same logic to every other item.
A practical pre-disposal workflow
- Open the item details. Record the listed use, rarity, value and any recycle or salvage option. Do not infer these from the item’s icon or color.
- Search current requirements. Review active quests, projects and station upgrades. Mark the exact quantity required and leave that quantity untouched.
- Review recipes you actually use. Ignore theoretical recipes for equipment you do not plan to build soon, but do not discard a material before checking whether it unlocks an important early upgrade.
- Choose the conversion. If recycling is available and its output helps a planned craft, recycle the surplus. If the vendor value is better than the component return, sell it. If neither is available or worthwhile, drop it only when the stash slot has greater immediate value.
- For Stencil Parts, check your cosmetic queue. Count learned stencils you intend to apply, multiply each by its displayed application cost, and reserve that amount. Add another reserve only if you expect to customize multiple weapon copies soon.
- Recheck after a patch. The item pages and guides are community-maintained, and the Stencil Parts entry records its addition in Frozen Trail patch 2.0. Balance changes can alter recipes, returns or costs.
Common mistakes and how to fix them
Scrapping Stencil Parts for their Epic rarity
Why it fails: the item entry says recycling and salvaging are not available, so rarity does not translate into components.
Fix: treat Stencil Parts as a cosmetic budget. Keep a planned reserve, and remove only the surplus when another item has a documented near-term use.
Assuming one stencil application covers every weapon copy
Why it fails: the guide reports that each application affects one weapon and consumes parts.

Fix: budget the cost again for each additional copy and confirm compatibility in the inventory interface before committing.
Using a universal “keep one stack” rule
Why it fails: no source establishes a universal reserve, while reported costs vary from two to 15 parts and player cosmetic habits differ.
Fix: reserve against actual learned stencils and likely applications, then reassess the slot against active progression needs.
Dropping Rubber Parts because they cannot be recycled
Why it fails: the database entry lists multiple recipes even though it shows no recycle path.
Fix: inspect recipe use before disposal; non-recyclable does not mean useless.
Best Value
- Compatible with Wide Screens - To ensure compatibility with the dual monitor mount, your each monitor must meet three conditions at the same time: First, computer screens size range: 13 to 32 inches. Second, screen weight range: 4.4 to 19.8 lbs. Third, the back of the monitor screen must have VESA mounting holes with a pitch of 75x75mm or 100x100mm.
- Regarding the compatibility with desks - Your desk must meet three conditions at the same time: First, desk material: Only wooden desks are recommended, plastic or glass desks cannot be used. Second, desk thickness range: 0.59" - 3.54". Third, the bottom of the desk should not have any cross beams or panels, as this will interfere with installation. We recommend carefully checking that your desk and monitors meets all above conditions before purchasing.
- Dual C-Clamp Hold - Worried your dual monitors might wobble or slip? Our upgraded base uses a larger platform plus a dual C-clamp structure to lock the dual monitor arm firmly to your desk. Each arm safely keeps your screens steady while you type, click and game—no shaking, no sliding, just a clean and secure setup you can trust every day. It also provides Grommet Mounting installation choice, both options ensure stable and secure fixation for your 0.59" - 3.54" desk.

The monitor stand offers +85°/-50° tilt, ±90° swivel and 360° rotation. Raise your monitor up to 15.75″ to support a healthy sitting posture. Whether you’re working from home, gaming through the night, or switching between video calls and documents, getting the screens to your natural line of sight helps relieve neck, shoulder and back strain so you can stay focused longer with less fatigue.
- Keep Your Desk Organized: By lifting both screens off the desktop, this dual monitor stand opens up valuable space for your keyboard, notebook, docking station or a simple, clutter-free work area. Built-in cable management guides wires along the arms, keeping cords out of sight and out of the way. Enjoy a tidy, modern workstation that looks as good as it feels to use.
Keeping every high-rarity item automatically
Why it fails: rarity alone does not reveal recipe demand, recycle yield, vendor value or scarcity.
Fix: compare the five item-level factors: recipes, active requirements, conversion return, sale value and reacquisition difficulty.
How reliable are the current numbers?
The available references are community sources and are patch-sensitive. The Stencil Parts item page was last edited 8 October 2026; the weapon-stencil guide was updated 8 October 2026 and says it is still being updated; the recycling guide was updated 6 October 2026 and identifies itself as fan-made and unaffiliated with Embark Studios. None of these references supplies official drop odds, a complete recipe catalogue or a definitive list of every current progression requirement.

The Commercial, Residential and Industrial labels identify reported loot categories, not a promise that every map or container contains Stencil Parts. The 14-stencil figure is the guide’s account of launch patch notes, with an eight-Topside, five-Frozen-Trail-Premium-Pass and one-Collector-DLC breakdown; the guide also says its coverage is incomplete. When an in-game tooltip, project panel or item page conflicts with an older community entry, follow the current in-game information and adjust your reserve.
Decision summary for a crowded inventory
- Stencil Parts: keep for planned weapon-stencil applications; do not expect recycling or salvaging to return components.
- Materials with an active requirement: reserve the exact amount before selling, recycling or dropping anything.
- Materials with recipes but no recycle path: inspect the recipes first; Rubber Parts demonstrate why the distinction matters.
- Surplus materials: compare recycle output, vendor value, scarcity and stash cost instead of using rarity as a shortcut.
- Common weapons: use the recycle-or-sell heuristic only after checking quests, projects and the current item prompt.
The safest inventory habit is not hoarding every item or scrapping every non-recyclable one. It is reserving documented progression needs, budgeting cosmetic applications, and converting only the surplus whose next use is less valuable than the space or materials you gain.
