In Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC), Xindi content spans two different activities: Xindi-Reptilian hostiles in the Enterprise and Ex-Borg progression, and an NX-01 loop involving Xindi-Aquatic hostiles in the Delphic Expanse. Xindi Final Weapon Armadas are a separate group encounter. The unlocks and mechanics below reflect official Update 62 and Armada Help Center guidance; check the current in-game requirements because game systems can change.
How do you unlock Xindi content in STFC?
To continue the Ex-Borg faction storyline and take on the Xindi, the official Update 62 article lists two requirements: Operations level 40 and 22,500 Ex-Borg reputation, a standing it calls “Distinguished.” It also says you need the “Particle Beam Delay” Favor, obtained with Ex-Borg Credits, before facing the Xindi. These are Update 62 requirements, so confirm the current thresholds and Favor details in the game.
The Enterprise arc is tied to the TV series’ story, but watching it is not a gameplay prerequisite. Update 62 describes the missions as picking up after the Temporal Cold War plotline from season 3 of Star Trek: Enterprise.
How do Xindi-Reptilian hostiles fight?
Xindi-Reptilian hostiles can bypass shields and deal damage directly to a ship’s hull. Their weapon also charges quickly. In practical terms, shield strength alone is not a reliable defense against this encounter: plan around hull damage and the hostile’s rapid weapon cycle. These mechanics are described in the official Update 62 Ex-Borg faction article.

How does the NX-01 Xindi-Aquatic loop work?
This is a distinct activity from the Ex-Borg Xindi-Reptilian progression. The official NX-01 guide describes 15 themed Delphic Expanse systems and Xindi-Aquatic targets that can only be defeated using the NX-01.
Get access to the Delphic Expanse
Use a Delphic Expanse Travel Token to enter the themed systems. The NX-01 refinery produces tokens in exchange for Xindi scraps, which come from Xindi-Reptilian hostiles. The guide also says the NX-01 refit can provide a second daily token through its free claim bundle; check the current refinery and claim bundle in game.

- The Command Division supplement provides Gamemasters and Players with a wealth of new material for use in Star Trek Adventures for characters in the command division.
- Expanded 2d20 Social Conflict rules, enhancing social encounters and galactic diplomacy.
- An expanded list of Talents and Focuses for command and conn characters.
- New rules on running Admiralty-level campaigns that let you command entire fleets, as well as information on commanding starbases.
- The Star Trek Adventures supplementary rulebooks and sourcebooks require the Star Trek Adventures core rulebook in order to play.
Choose an Xindi-Aquatic target
- Interceptors: The guide characterizes these as lower-risk targets for steady fighting.
- Battleships: These offer higher risk and reward. They can destroy your ship at the beginning of combat, so do not treat them as simply tougher versions of interceptors.
Systems named in the NX-01 guide
The 15 systems listed are Estellion, Demetrium, Juuska, Faden, Dahkso, Tamhluch, Paynax, Emissius, Anorlo, Taskeh, Meedra, Tebith, Mobhi, Glensha and Yoton. The official NX-01 article provides the loop details.
How do Xindi Final Weapon Armadas work?
Final Weapon Armadas are group encounters, not another name for the NX-01 hostile loop. Scopely’s Help Center lists Armada difficulties at levels 53, 56 and 60, with Uncommon or Rare directives. It lists Materials, Ship Parts and Temporal Artifact Shards as rewards. Directives may come from Xindi mission chains, event stores or special offers.

- The single-player campaign is now called Metaverse, which comes from the term metagame, meaning game within a game.
- Each campaign has about 60 individual missions that feature greater context, flexibility, and impact on the fate of your empire.
- Metaverse is available for online play. There are two new races in addition to the original six: the savage Mirak Star League and the Interstellar Concordium, which aims to enforce peace at any cost.
- New ships are available, including escort vessels, patrol craft, and fighters, bringing the total variants to more than 1,000.
- A new fleet interface makes for easy target monitoring and allows fleets to operate as a single unit or for individual ships to move autonomously.
Watch the eighth-round attack
The Help Center says the Final Weapon’s damage increases by a stacking percentage whenever it is not Burning. Every eighth round, it fires a super weapon that deals lethal damage to one ship. According to that guidance, the attack can be disabled by Assimilating the weapon at the start of that round. Coordinate the timing with your group rather than waiting until the attack has fired.
These are Help Center mechanics and may change, so verify the current combat instructions in game. Update 64.1 patch notes separately describe Xindi Armadas as a level 51+ challenge and repeat the stacking-damage and eighth-round attack mechanics. That “level 51+” description does not expressly reconcile with the Help Center’s 53, 56 and 60 difficulty tiers; treat them as different source descriptions, not as a single confirmed entry threshold. See the Update 64.1 patch notes and Xindi G5 Armada Help Center entry.
