Xindi Final Weapon Armadas are group encounters in Xindi space built around two combat checks: keep the target Burning so its weapon damage does not stack, and have it Assimilated at the start of every eighth round to disable its ship-killing superweapon. You need Xindi Final Weapon Armada Directives to start one; alliance members can join a teammate’s Armada during its countdown if they are in range.

What Xindi Armadas are—and who can access them

These are challenging group armadas against the Xindi Final Weapon in G5 space. Scopely’s Help Center lists target levels 53, 56, and 60. Separately, the Update 64.1 patch notes describe Xindi Armadas as content for players at Operations Level 51 and above. Those are distinct pieces of guidance, not a single level requirement: the sources do not say that every player must be exactly level 53, 56, or 60 to participate.

Starting any Armada has a general prerequisite of Operations Level 23, a built Armada Control Center, and the required Armada Directives. That level 23 rule is not an Xindi-specific unlock threshold. Scopely’s Xindi G5 Armadas guide and general Armada joining guide cover the feature and participation rules.

How to start or join an Xindi Armada

To start one

  1. Meet the general Armada requirements: reach Operations Level 23 and unlock and build the Armada Control Center.
  2. Have the right directives: Xindi Final Weapon Armadas consume Uncommon or Rare Xindi Final Weapon Armada Directives.
  3. Choose a target and launch: use the Armada Control Center to initiate the encounter. The Control Center’s level determines how many alliance members can join.

Scopely lists Xindi mission chains, event stores, and special offers as sources of Xindi Final Weapon Directives. The Help Center does not give a fixed directive quantity or a universal cost for each target, so check the in-game launch screen for the amount required by the Armada you select.

To join an ally

Alliance members can join during the Armada countdown, provided their ships are within the Armada Hostile’s radius. Coordinate before launch so participants can get into range in time; the starter’s Control Center level limits the number of available places. See Scopely’s Armada joining instructions for the general join rules.

The two mechanics that decide the fight

Keep Burning on the Final Weapon

At the beginning of each round, if the Xindi Final Weapon is not Burning, its weapon damage increases by a stacking percentage. Burning is therefore more than extra damage: it prevents the enemy’s damage from escalating over the course of the battle. A crew plan should account for applying or maintaining Burning on the target, not merely for producing high opening damage.

  • The Star Trek Adventures supplementary rulebooks and sourcebooks require the Star Trek Adventures core rulebook in order to play.

Have Assimilate ready for round eight

Every eighth round, the Final Weapon fires a superweapon that deals lethal damage to one ship. The attack is disabled if the target is Assimilated at the start of that round. That timing matters: arrange for Assimilate to be active at the beginning of the eighth-round turn rather than relying on an effect that might arrive later in the round.

In practical terms, the encounter asks the alliance to manage two linked conditions: consistent Burning to contain stacking weapon damage, and correctly timed Assimilate to stop the periodic superweapon. Scopely describes the encounter as requiring strategic crew setup, teamwork, and careful timing.

Star Trek: Starfleet Command 2 - Empires at War - PC
  • The single-player campaign is now called Metaverse, which comes from the term metagame, meaning game within a game.
  • Each campaign has about 60 individual missions that feature greater context, flexibility, and impact on the fate of your empire.
  • Metaverse is available for online play. There are two new races in addition to the original six: the savage Mirak Star League and the Interstellar Concordium, which aims to enforce peace at any cost.
  • New ships are available, including escort vessels, patrol craft, and fighters, bringing the total variants to more than 1,000.
  • A new fleet interface makes for easy target monitoring and allows fleets to operate as a single unit or for individual ships to move autonomously.

Crew options for Xindi Armadas

Scopely’s Xindi-specific recommendation

Scopely recommends Epic Christopher Pike, Epic Gwen Demarco, and Epic Dajash Tolra for Xindi Armadas. This is official guidance, not a guarantee of success for every ship, target level, research setup, or account.

Generic Armada crews with the required abilities

Scopely says a generic Armada crew can also work if it covers both mechanics. Its example uses Epic Georgiou or Epic Nero on the bridge to provide Burning, Rare Neelix below decks for Burning, and Rare Dezoc below decks for Assimilate. Consult the officers’ abilities and your ship’s setup to confirm the effects are available when needed.

Rewards and the Final Weapon event

Scopely’s Xindi G5 Armada Help Center lists Materials, Ship Parts, and Temporal Artifact Shards as victory rewards. The 2024 Update 64.1 announcement described the launch as consolidating older Armada rewards while adding new rewards, including G6-related rewards, and mentioned weekly claims segmented by Operations level range. That launch announcement is historical context; it does not establish the current reward table for every player or target.
