The June 8, 2023 Summer Game Fest showcase was a mix of new reveals, trailers, gameplay footage, and updates—not every game on the program was being announced for the first time. This roundup covers the main showcase and labels what each item represented where the available recaps make that distinction clear.
What this roundup covers
The main Summer Game Fest showcase took place in Los Angeles on June 8, 2023, at 12 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. CEST. Its games and gaming content covered Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The list below follows the titles in Shacknews’ same-day trailer roundup, which identifies its coverage as the showcase; it is not a claim that every appearance was a first reveal. Windows Central’s broader recap also lists items it says were announced or discussed, a wider category than new announcements.
This is the June 8 showcase, not every presentation held during Summer Game Fest week. Sony’s PlayStation Showcase took place May 24, and Xbox and Ubisoft held separate presentations later in the week, as Engadget’s coverage notes.
Games and updates in the showcase
Shacknews’ same-day roundup includes the following games and gaming updates. Where the cited coverage does not establish a specific announcement type, platform list, or event release window, that detail is marked as not stated rather than inferred.

Windows Central’s wider list of games and announcements “talked about” during the event also names Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Palworld, Party Animals, Marvel Snap, Witchfire, Remnant 2, and Star Trek: Infinite, among other items. That wording does not establish that each was a new reveal during the June 8 showcase. Windows Central also mentions an Xbox Series X sweepstakes, which was not a game announcement.
