To open the Sun Quartz box in Resident Evil Requiem, use Corrosive on its padlock, then enter Star → Sun → Moon → Sun. The box is in the Lead Researcher’s Office in the Care Center’s East Wing.
Where to find the Sun Quartz box
Look for the box in the Lead Researcher’s Office in the East Wing of the Care Center. Nintendo Life places the office on the second floor. The box is padlocked, so you need Corrosive before you can enter its combination.

How to open the box
- Collect Corrosive from the Conference Room.
- Use Corrosive on the box’s padlock in the Lead Researcher’s Office.
- Enter the symbols in this order: Star → Sun → Moon → Sun.
The box opens once the four symbols are entered in sequence. The solution is listed consistently by PowerPyx and Shacknews.
How the office photographs reveal the code
If you want to solve it from the in-game clue, inspect the photographs in the office. They show partial views of the symbol sequence; combine the parts to get Star, Sun, Moon, Sun. Nintendo Life and PC Gamer describe the photos as the intended combination clue.

What’s inside and where the Sun Quartz goes
Opening the box gives you the Sun Quartz and a Leatherbound Notebook. The quartz is one of three pieces used in the Central Hall door mechanism, so take it back there when you continue through the Care Center.
