In 2024, Nintendo Store UK announced a 3D Keyring and Star Pin Set, while US retailers offered different merchandise: a Canvas Tote at Best Buy, a Dice Block Keychain at GameStop, and a Party Tin at Target. A separate North American promotion offered a three-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership code, but that offer has ended.

Was the Nintendo Switch Online code another preorder gift?
It was a separate promotion, not one of the retailer-specific physical gifts. Nintendo offered an eligible purchase a download code for a three-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. The promotion covered Argentina (digital purchases only), Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and the United States. It ended on March 31, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time, or earlier if supplies ran out. Nintendo’s promotion FAQ.

- Get ready for the biggest party yet in Super Mario Party Jamboree for Nintendo Switch. From running through merry-go-rounds to motion-control minigolf, this jamboree is jam-packed with over 110 minigames – the most of any Mario Party game to date!
- With seven boards in all, you can go with the flow in Goomba Lagoon, search for stars in Rainbow Galleria, revisit the classics of Western Land and Mario’s Rainbow Castle from past titles and more.
- Race across the party board in Koopathlon, a series-first 20-player online competition to see who can rack up the highest scores in minigames like the fast-paced Lane Change. The higher your score in each round, the faster you’ll get to the goal. Koopathlon is just one of a slew of additional modes – there’s something for every kind of Mario Party player to enjoy!
Which purchases qualified?
Under Nintendo’s terms, qualifying purchases during the offer period included digital preorders and purchases, Nintendo eShop purchases, Game Voucher redemptions and download-code redemptions. A physical copy qualified only if it was specially marked to show that it included the code, and marked stock was limited. For preorders, Nintendo said the code would be emailed when the purchase was charged, no sooner than seven days before the game’s release. The promotion itself is over, so a copy purchased now should not be assumed to include a code.
Who could redeem the code?
The code was for an Individual membership. Nintendo said it could add three months to an existing Individual membership, but users with a Family membership or Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership would receive an error when trying to redeem it. Nintendo also said the code itself did not expire; that does not change the promotion’s purchase deadline.
