BRAVELY DEFAULT FLYING FAIRY HD Remaster

How to read the dates and availability
A release date in a company roundup is a schedule, not proof that a game is currently on sale in every country or edition. Nintendo’s roundup says, “Please note: all the dates listed are accurate at the time of publication.” Nintendo’s investor presentation likewise warns that titles and launch dates can change and dates can differ by region. Nintendo investor presentation.
- Already announced, date given: the games listed with February, January, or October dates have a published schedule, but check for later changes and local availability.
- Announced, date not established: BRAVELY DEFAULT FLYING FAIRY HD Remaster has a Switch 2 announcement but no date established here.
- Physical editions and stock: the announcements cited establish platform plans, not cartridge availability, price, or current inventory.
Nintendo also listed a Resident Evil Requiem-themed Switch 2 Pro Controller alongside the game in its roundup. That listing does not establish current regional stock or price, so check Nintendo’s local product listings before buying.

Why these publishers stand out in the slate
The breadth is the point: Capcom has announced six Resident Evil games across two announced windows, while Square Enix’s named slate spans Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest and Bravely Default. These examples make both publishers prominent contributors to the 2026 third-party schedule, but the available announcements do not establish an objective ranking of publishers or a complete count of every company’s games.
Capcom reported more than 174 million cumulative Resident Evil franchise sales as of June 30, 2025, in its September 2025 release. It also said Resident Evil Requiem received four Gamescom Awards 2025 awards; that award count is Capcom’s own statement. Capcom’s release.
