Tales of Graces f Remastered launched worldwide on January 17, 2025. It brings the 2010 role-playing game to Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, with quality-of-life updates and the Lineage and Legacies after-story.
When did Tales of Graces f Remastered come out?
The remaster’s release date was January 17, 2025. Bandai Namco announced it on August 27, 2024, so the original “next year” wording referred to that announcement—not to a future release. Bandai Namco’s announcement and its launch announcement give the date.

Tales of Graces f Remastered is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam. The platform list is confirmed in Bandai Namco’s launch announcement. PlayStation’s product page lists PS4 and PS5 editions: PlayStation product page.
Is it the PS3 game remastered?
Yes. This release revisits Tales of Graces f, originally released in 2010. It is an action RPG set in Ephinea, where three nations contend with the power of Eleth. The story follows Asbel and his friends, tracing promises and relationships that begin in childhood and are tested as they grow up. Bandai Namco’s announcement and producer message describe the game and its focus on character bonds.

What’s new in the remaster?
The release adds visual enhancements and practical options intended to make progression and play more convenient. Officially listed changes include:
- Autosave and functions to skip content.
- An option to disable general encounters.
- Destination icons to help with navigation.
- Dialogue speed adjustment.
- Customizable controls for field exploration and combat.
- Scenes that were previously available only as Japanese-language DLC, now available in other languages, including English voice-over.
- The Lineage and Legacies after-story, listed on PlayStation’s product page.

Does it include the original DLC?
Bandai Namco says the remaster includes more than 80 original DLC packs or items. That does not mean every item from the original release is present: the European feature page identifies licensed content that is excluded. The original game’s online ranking feature is also absent. Bandai Namco’s launch announcement lists Standard and Digital Deluxe editions. The Deluxe edition adds a digital art book and soundtrack, a battle BGM pack and a support item set; the Standard edition does not include those listed Deluxe extras.
