“Taonga” refers to two different games: Taonga: The Island Farm, the browser game, and Taonga: The Island Adventure, the mobile game. Their mechanics and progression should not be treated as interchangeable. This guide separates what is established for each title and offers a reliable way to approach goals without claiming a universally optimal route.
First, identify which Taonga you play
Volka Games describes Taonga: The Island Farm as a tropical-archipelago game built around island adventures, gathering resources, growing crops, building and crafting, fighting, trading, and fishing. The publisher says Island Farm was first released on Facebook in 2016 and is free to play on its web portal.
Taonga: The Island Adventure is a separate mobile game with its own story and features. Volka says it has been available in the Google app store since 2021. Because the games are distinct, advice about Island Farm’s systems should not be assumed to apply to Island Adventure. Availability and features can change.
Taonga: The Island Farm strategies
Island Farm progression draws on several connected activities rather than a single mechanic. Its official help index has separate guidance for adventures and travel, energy, boat upgrades, missions, trials, yacht orders, and construction; the publisher’s overview also identifies farming, gathering, crafting, combat, trading, and fishing. Use these as systems to understand and balance, not as evidence of a proven order for completing them.
#1 Best Overall
- BIGGER, BETTER, AND NUKIER THAN EVER – Everything you love about Farms Race, now expanded for 2–5 players with the new Rabbit species. Adds fresh asymmetric mutations, extra chaos, and the same darkly strategic humor that made the original a blast.
- INCLUDES STANDARD EDITION CONTENT — AND MORE – Comes with everything from the Standard Edition plus an expansion’s worth of new material, upgraded components, and bonus goodies to supercharge your game.
- 8 NEW MUTATIONS, 6 NEW SPIES – More broken abilities, more authoritarian antics, and 3,400 % more ways to regret your alliances. Every game feels different, devious, and delightfully unpredictable.
- PREMIUM MAYHEM – Features a metal Current Player Token, wooden tokens, extra dice, a canvas bag, and two tuck boxes for sleeved cards (sleeves sold separately). All packed in a taller box with space for player mats (sold separately).
- THE DEFINITIVE EDITION – The original game plus a full expansion’s worth of new content and upgraded components in one box. If you think peace is overrated, this is your version of utopia.
Plan around island requirements
Before committing to a long island objective, check its unlock conditions and the materials or tasks it requires. The official Island of the First Accord guide is one concrete example: it lists level 27 and other prerequisites, then describes objectives involving Kauri logs, diamond carving tools, rewards from Lesser Spirits’ Trials, a totem, defeating a spirit, and repairing a bridge. Those requirements illustrate how an island can combine progression gates, resource gathering, trials, construction, and combat. They are specific to this island, not a universal recipe for other areas.
Use the help index to answer system-specific questions
For a problem involving travel, boat or pier upgrades, missions, trials, construction, or energy, start with the matching topic in the official Island Farm support center. The help categories show where the game documents each system; they do not rank activities or establish an optimal energy budget, build order, or leveling path.

Taonga: The Island Adventure strategies
For the mobile game, use its own official help center rather than importing Island Farm instructions. Its categories cover travel, storage, energy and currency, clans, fair play, technical troubleshooting, and payment questions. Consult the category that matches your issue, and verify any specific mechanic against Island Adventure’s own guidance.

The official materials establish the games’ broad activity types and provide help for individual systems and island requirements. They do not establish a current best build order, universally optimal energy use, resource-priority list, fastest leveling path, or comprehensive route for either game. Treat advice that promises one as a recommendation to verify for your title, progress stage, and current game content—not as a confirmed optimal strategy.
