What the Pokémon x Target 30th Anniversary collection is
The collection is a limited-time collaboration between Target and Pokémon, created for the franchise’s 30th anniversary. Target described the full program as more than 100 physical items. Its announced breakdown was approximately 65 products in the first drop and approximately 40 in the second, putting the two releases at roughly 105 items overall.

Because the assortment is spread across everyday categories, the collection is aimed at both collectors and fans who want Pokémon designs on usable clothing, accessories, household goods, food and beverage products, and beauty items. The dates describe the scheduled launches announced by Target and Pokémon. Individual items can have different availability after launch, so a collection-wide date does not guarantee that every product remains in stock.

Highlights from Drop 1
The first announcement identified several items that explain the range of the collaboration:
- Pokémon Starter jacket: a first-of-its-kind jacket built around Pokémon’s starter-creature theme.
- Mead Trapper Keepers: school and stationery products carrying Pokémon branding.
- Poké Ball kickballs: balls patterned after different Poké Ball varieties.
- Butterfree hair clips: small accessories using the butterfly Pokémon as their motif.
- 151-piece Kanto puzzles: life-size puzzles inspired by the original Kanto region and its 151 Pokémon.
The natural product description for the puzzle is “Pokémon 151-piece Kanto puzzle.” The announcement establishes the item and its 151-piece, Kanto-inspired format, but it does not establish a specific Amazon listing or continuing stock at any retailer.

What changed with Drop 2
Target characterized the second release as more than 40 new products made with detailed references for longtime fans. The assortment was co-created with The Pokémon Company International, adding another layer of official franchise involvement beyond a generic licensed-print collection.
Gigi Guerra, Target’s vice president of creative curation, called the release “another love letter to Pokémon fans.” That description reflects Drop 2’s emphasis on recognizable fandom details, but Target’s announcement does not provide a complete public item-by-item catalog, universal pricing table or permanent availability list.

How to find the items now
Shoppers looking for a specific piece should treat the collection as a set of individual Target listings rather than one product page. Search Target.com for terms such as “Pokémon x Target 30th Anniversary collection,” “Pokémon Starter jacket” or “Pokémon 151-piece Kanto puzzle,” then confirm the product’s availability for the intended store or shipping address.
- Search Target.com using the product name or the anniversary collection phrase.
- Open the individual listing and check whether it offers shipping, pickup or in-store availability for your location.
- Verify the size, color or design variant before adding the item; apparel and accessories may have separate stock by variation.
- If a listing is unavailable, check another nearby store or return later. Collection-level launch dates do not establish ongoing inventory.
The official announcements do not publish a complete current price sheet. Price, inventory and fulfillment therefore need to be checked at the SKU level on the relevant Target listing.

How the collection differs from the Pokémon 30th Celebration TCG line
The Target lifestyle assortment should not be confused with Pokémon’s separate 30th Celebration Trading Card Game expansion. The official TCG product showcase schedules that expansion for September 16, 2026 and describes planned booster products, including a foil Eevee card, a plastic coin and two booster packs.

In practical terms, the Target collaboration is a multi-category merchandise program, while 30th Celebration is a card-game product line. A Target Pokémon jacket, puzzle or kickball is not part of the TCG expansion, and a booster product is not one of the more than 100 lifestyle items counted in the Target drops.
