Tarkov’s PvP Flea Market was initially set to reopen for listings two weeks after patch 0.16.0.0 was installed, but Battlestate Games later extended the lock by five days. The developer’s announced deadline was January 14, 2025, at 3 PM GMT / 10 AM EST; this was a 2025 event, not a newly announced 2026 restriction.
What the two-week lock meant
Patch-note text reproduced in a community repost said PvP Flea Market listing offers would become available two weeks after patch 0.16.0.0 was installed. The specific timing comes from that repost rather than an official patch-note page, so it should be treated with that attribution in mind: community repost of the patch notes.
The restriction concerned listing offers on the PvP market. The available wording does not establish a broader restriction on every market function or on other game editions.
Battlestate extended the lock by five days
On January 9, 2025, contemporaneous coverage reported that Battlestate Games was adding five days to the closure. The developer’s official English-language Escape from Tarkov Telegram channel said: “We are actively monitoring community feedback on Flea Market being locked and decided to extend the lock for 5 more days until January 14 3PM GMT / 10AM EST.” Battlestate Games’ announcement gave the same deadline. When was the Flea Market due to reopen?
The announced end time for the extended PvP listing lock was January 14, 2025, at 3 PM GMT / 10 AM EST. That was the developer’s stated deadline at the time, not a current or upcoming reopening date.
