Reservations matter if you are deciding whether the game fits your tastes. Is Tchia good on Switch?
Metacritic’s Nintendo Switch review page displayed an 85/100 Metascore from just four critic reviews when accessed in 2026. That is a small sample, so it should not be treated as conclusive proof that the Switch version is better than other versions or free of issues. Who is Tchia best suited for?
- Consider it if you like open-ended exploration, varied ways to move through a world, and systems that reward experimentation. Soul-Jumping is the clearest reason to choose Tchia over a more conventional adventure.
- Its setting may be a draw if you value music and a strong sense of place: the New Caledonia inspiration is part of the game’s identity, rather than incidental scenery.
