Team Vitality beat FURIA 3–1 in the best-of-five grand final of IEM Kraków 2026 on 8 February, recovering from a loss on Mirage to win the next three maps: Inferno, Nuke and Overpass.
Vitality vs. FURIA: IEM Kraków final score and map results
The inaugural IEM Kraków ended with Vitality taking the title after FURIA claimed the opening map. The official ESL broadcast timeline records the maps in this order:

The series was a best-of-five, so Vitality secured the championship by winning three maps. The official ESL Counter-Strike broadcast timeline identifies the map sequence.
How the victory fit Vitality’s tournament run
IEM Kraków ran from 28 January to 8 February 2026, making this its first edition. Team Vitality’s event recap listed apEX, ZywOo, ropz, mezii and flameZ as the five players in its lineup for the tournament; that is an event-period roster, not confirmation of any later lineup. Team Vitality’s recap also confirms the final result, date and venue.

Vitality captain Dan “apEX” Madesclaire described the win as part of a larger run of success, while acknowledging the opening-map loss: “I think this team is making history. So many big trophies together. We are closer from the second Grand Slam ever. I’m speechless once again, my team is amazing, we keep winning. We lost that Mirage, we should’ve never lost it, but I’m really proud of my boys today”. The ESL FACEIT Group event recap published the comment on 8 February 2026.
IEM Kraków 2026 prize money and event figures
ESL listed $1,250,000 in total winnings for the event. The ESL Pro Tour results page allocated $400,000 to first place and $180,000 to second place; the total winnings figure is not the amount awarded to the champion.

ESL FACEIT Group reported attendance of 38,000. It also reported peak viewership of 1,370,524, attributing that figure to Esports Charts; this is a peak-viewership figure, not an average-viewer count. The organizer also described Vitality’s victory as a title in the ESL Grand Slam VI race, a separate achievement from winning IEM Kraków itself.
