Bleacher Report says Ted Lasso, Coach Beard and AFC Richmond’s Lady Greyhounds appear in EA SPORTS FC 27. EA’s own FC 27 cover-discovery page lists A.F.C. Richmond, corroborating the club’s connection to the game—but not confirming the women’s team’s modes or the origin of the preview photos.
What’s reported about Ted Lasso and the Lady Greyhounds?
In an October 12, 2026 report, Bleacher Report names Ted Lasso, Coach Beard and AFC Richmond’s women’s side, the Lady Greyhounds, as appearing in FC 27. The report recalls that the fictional coach and Richmond’s men’s team previously appeared in FIFA 23.

EA’s FC 27 cover-discovery page independently lists A.F.C. Richmond. That is official confirmation of Richmond-related FC 27 promotion, but it does not establish the full details of the women’s team’s implementation or independently verify the preview photos as official EA images.

What is confirmed, and what remains unclear?
- Reported: Bleacher Report says Ted Lasso, Coach Beard and the Lady Greyhounds feature in FC 27.
- Confirmed by EA: A.F.C. Richmond appears on EA’s cover-discovery page.
- Not established by the cited sources: Which game modes include the women’s team, whether the men’s side returns, and whether the preview photos are EA-produced or official in-game captures.
EA’s official materials discuss FC 27’s modes and platforms, but do not specify where the Lady Greyhounds can be used. Until EA or another source provides that detail, treat mode availability and photo provenance as unresolved rather than assuming a particular mode or source.

When does FC 27 release, and what platforms are supported?
EA announced worldwide availability for September 25, 2026. Its launch release lists the full game for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Availability can vary by edition or territory; consult EA’s launch information for current details.
Do not confuse the full-game platform list with The Grounds availability. EA says The Grounds, including Clubs, is available only on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. That mode-specific restriction does not mean FC 27 as a whole is unavailable on the other listed platforms.

What EA’s announcement does—and does not—say
EA’s September 25 launch release describes the game’s release and scale, while its July 23 first-look release covers game plans, editions, modes, platforms and league context. Neither cited announcement explains the Lady Greyhounds’ mode availability. EA executive Nick Wlodyka’s broad characterization of FC 27 as “the biggest football experience we’ve ever delivered” is about the overall product, not evidence of the crossover’s scope.
