Miary Zo completed the Season 2 DLC fighter lineup for TEKKEN 8—not the game’s overall roster. Bandai Namco announced her arrival on December 2, 2025, saying that the Season 2 milestone brought the roster to 40 playable characters. Season 2 pass owners got 72-hour early access; general access began December 5, 2025, with standalone DLC also available.
What Miary Zo’s arrival completed
Bandai Namco described Miary Zo as the final Season 2 DLC fighter. Its December 2, 2025 announcement said her addition brought the roster to 40 playable characters at that milestone. That figure is historical, not a current total: the official TEKKEN 8 product page now lists Season 3 content.

When Miary Zo became available
Season 2 Character Pass and Season 2 Character & Stage Pass holders who owned the base game received 72 hours of early access. General access began December 5, 2025, and Miary Zo was also offered as standalone DLC, according to the publisher’s patch notes and announcement.
Which Season 2 content route fits?
The choice depends on whether you want the character only or also want the additional stage, and whether you already own the game or relevant DLC.

Before buying, check your platform’s store and your existing DLC library. The official product page warns against duplicate purchases. If you do not own TEKKEN 8, you will also need the base game: a physical PS5 copy is a base-game option, not a Season 2 pass or Miary Zo DLC.
Who Miary Zo is, according to Bandai Namco
Bandai Namco calls Miary Zo an original character and describes her as a vessel of the Silver Fighting God, a figure rooted in Madagascan legend. The publisher says her fighting style draws on Morengy, a traditional Madagascan martial art, other African influences, and animal-inspired movements. Vanilla and Cacao, two ring-tailed lemurs, accompany her. These are the publisher’s descriptions of the character and her fictional mythology.

Baobab Horizon
Her release also introduced Baobab Horizon, a stage inspired by Madagascar. Bandai Namco describes it as featuring baobabs, wildlife, and local architectural details.

The official product page lists a Season 3 Character Pass and names Kunimitsu, Bob, Roger Jr., and Yujiro Hanma as Season 3 characters, alongside the Subsea Lockdown stage. The lineup and schedule are product details that can change; consult the current product page and your platform store before making a purchase. The page also says individual DLC can be bought separately and cautions against duplicate purchases.
