Terminus has one documented main Easter Egg quest, “No Mo’ Modi,” which ends in a fight against Patient 13. This guide lays out the main-quest route first, then the side Easter Eggs and secrets documented for the map. It is a documented inventory, not a guarantee that every hidden secret has been found.
Before you start the Terminus main quest
The route below follows PowerPyx’s October 28, 2024 walkthrough for Standard Mode. Directed Mode may present some objectives in a different order. Activision’s official Terminus guide focuses on the opening ten rounds and solo play, while noting that squads can use similar strategies.
- Power the map and activate Pack-a-Punch before tackling the later quest steps.
- Get the DRI-11 Beamsmasher either from the Mystery Box or by completing its build sequence.
- Prepare before starting the timed buoy and bomb objectives; failure to defuse the bombs ends the run.
Zombies Codex’s September 8, 2026 guide review gives a rough completion estimate of 45–90 minutes. That is a guide estimate, not a measured completion-time statistic, and actual time depends on your run and preparation.
How to complete the “No Mo’ Modi” main quest
1. Activate the AMP units and raise Pack-a-Punch
Activate and defend all three generators, also called AMP units. Then dive into the Bio Lab water and interact with the Pack-a-Punch lift or platform. Getting power online early also lets you start collecting perks.

2. Obtain the DRI-11 Beamsmasher
You can try the Mystery Box for a random Beamsmasher pull, which may let you skip the build quest. The guaranteed route takes longer: use Dead Wire to open the electrical-box chain and access the Research Office, kill the trapped zombie to get the EMF fob, and retrieve the multiphasic resonator from the Sea Tower briefcase. Activate the laptops, solve the run-specific keypad puzzle or pay Dr. Peck 5,000 points for the answer, then complete the three island orb rituals and craft the weapon at the Research Office bench.
The keypad answer changes between runs; do not rely on a code copied from another match. Walkthroughs differ on some setup details, so follow the in-game cues as you work through the sequence.
3. Get the hard drive and open Nathan’s chamber
Use the Beamsmasher on tentacle traps until one drops the hard drive. Deliver it to the postbox at the Guard Station for Dr. Peck. Next, collect the chamber-code clues: the hour shown by the clock, the number on the playing card in the Mess Hall, and the injury-day number on the Engineering sign. Use those clues to enter that run’s code.
Keep this chamber code separate from the earlier Beamsmasher-build keypad puzzle: they belong to different steps. The resonator sequence also involves an X/Y/Z symbol-note calculation; use the symbols and notes presented in your run rather than treating any example answer as universal.

4. Defeat Nathan and take the gold keycard
Enter the chamber code and activate the valves around Nathan’s tank. In co-op, coordinate so the required valve interactions happen together. Defeat the Amalgam/Nathan encounter, then dive into the Bio Lab water and pick up the gold keycard. PowerPyx notes that it can appear at different spots on the floor, but remains in the room.
5. Collect and install the node connectors
Take a boat to the crashed ship, enter its workshop, survive the lockdown, and collect the node connectors. Install them at the two broken pipe or node locations. There are three possible locations, and the two that need repair can vary, so check the map state rather than assuming fixed locations.
6. Hack the buoys and defuse the bombs
Retrieve the hacking device from the Guard Station and use it on all three satellite buoys. The two-minute countdown starts when you hack the first buoy. Completing the buoy step triggers the bomb countdown: return to the Bio Lab and defuse all three bombs within five minutes. Failure is a map fail state, so get back to the Bio Lab and prepare before you begin the buoy sequence if possible.
After the bombs are defused, you can take additional rounds to prepare before starting the boss fight.

7. Defeat Patient 13
Patient 13 is the final boss; defeating it completes the main quest. The documented phase targets are:
- Phase one: Shoot the red spore bubbles.
- Phase two: Target the mouth and the glowing spots on the arm tentacles.
- Phase three: Aim for the eyes.
Zombies Codex’s guide warns of a central tongue attack that can instantly down a player and a late blue-smoke attack that can wipe the team. Treat these as guide-reported fight mechanics and keep moving rather than standing in the central hazard.

Cursed Talisman and Treasure Hunter route
- Buy Melee Macchiato, then reveal Captain Gregg by interacting with the cracked map wall in the Sea Caves.
- Find the Watch at its marked location, which is randomized.
- Use three Molotovs on the skeletons at Temple Island, Castle Rock, and Shipwreck.
- Return the coins and complete the later island chest sequence to obtain the Cursed Talisman.
The talisman grants an Essence reward, but being hit brings a penalty.
Mega Stuffy
Find six stuffed-animal pieces and assemble them in Living Quarters. Mega Stuffy becomes a companion that attacks enemies, can revive players, and drops support.
Boat Race
Interact with Mr. Peeks’ boat setup, choose a course, and steer through the gates to earn timed loot. Do this before starting the main quest’s time-sensitive boating sequence.
Other documented extras
- Cooking fish: Cook fish in the Mess Hall to receive temporary effects.
- Rec Yard basketball: Make a shot for a possible Essence reward.
- Void Cannon meteor: Trigger the meteor for high-tier loot.
- Hidden target shots: Shoot hidden targets to earn one-use power-ups.
How complete is this list?
“Every” is a useful way players describe a guide to Terminus Easter Eggs, but the available documentation does not establish an exhaustive list of every secret on the map. This guide covers the main quest and the side Easter Eggs and extras documented in Zombies Codex’s September 2026 review; undiscovered or undocumented secrets may remain.
