The Tetris Company said in its June 6, 2024 World Tetris Day release that Tetris had sold “over 520 million units worldwide.” That is the company’s reported figure, not an independently audited total. The Tetris Company’s June 6, 2024 announcement also quotes CEO Maya Rogers describing the series’ appeal as “easy to play and highly intuitive, making it accessible to everyone.”
Which platforms does the trailer listing name?
The launch-trailer description lists PC through Steam and GOG, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Release-date listings conflict. The GameTrailers listing and GameFAQs record November 12, 2024, while the official Tetris product page says “Released Nov 28, 2024.” The available sources do not explain the difference, so neither date should be silently treated as a correction of the other.
