What does Spec IV have to do with the announcement?
The announcement also gives a planned schedule for the free Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV update: Thrustmaster says it is planned in two parts, with the first arriving in October 2026 and the second in December 2026. That is a schedule stated in the announcement, not confirmation that either update has shipped. The update schedule does not change the T-GT III announcement into a new game release.
