For Chapter 7 Season 1, the most useful Fortnite XP map was the one still paying well on your account—not a map with a guaranteed rate. A guide updated December 1, 2025, reported several Creative islands and other routes, but Epic’s calibration and diminishing-returns systems meant payouts could change between players and over time. The map codes and rates below are historical reports, not confirmation that they still work today.
Which Fortnite XP maps were recommended in Chapter 7 Season 1?
AllThings. How’s season guide, updated December 1, 2025, listed the following options. Its figures describe player reports, not independent testing, and should not be treated as guaranteed payouts.

| Map | Reported route or result |
|---|---|
| Christmas Tycoon (6906-1175-1218) | Players reportedly earned roughly 34,000 XP every five minutes after setup by shooting an XP target with SMGs. The guide says results varied by account. |
| Criminal Tycoon | Still functional but nerfed in the guide’s account; some players reportedly saw single-digit XP per hit early in the week. |
| Squid Game Tycoon | Described as an AFK-style option. Some players reportedly received around 11 XP per bullet, down from a prior-season reported range of 25–30. |
| Island Tycoon / Island Tycoon 2 | Clicker-style maps described as solid after upgrades, but slower than Christmas Tycoon for many accounts. |
| FortM (6163-6465-2983) | The guide said it had completed calibration and returned to normal XP awards, and suited active play better than long unattended sessions. |
| Default Parkour (1190-7807-0491) | Reported to include an XP room with interactable buttons and a bounce room. |
| Woods XP custom map (7712-7294-0408) | Reported to have multiple interactables that award XP when pressed or shot. |
| 99 BOTS Zombies (8147-1341-3098) | Elimination map where zombie kills, especially headshots, reportedly award XP. |
| The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge (7676-4811-6767) | The guide reported roughly 2,000 XP per quest for certain repeated objectives. |
These reports are attached to a particular season and date. The guide also named Christmas Tycoon, Criminal Tycoon, Squid Game Tycoon, Island Tycoon and FortM among options worth trying, while warning that an island’s payout could change and vary from one player’s account to another. No current availability or calibration check for these codes is established here.
Why can the same XP map pay differently?
Creative XP is not a fixed rate attached permanently to a map. Epic says published islands are calibrated through player sessions, and its Accolades documentation explains that XP gains have diminishing returns: as a player earns XP across Creative games, repeats the same actions, or replays the same game, the amount awarded can fall. The system applies those reductions automatically. See Epic’s Accolades device documentation for the mechanics.

Epic announced in April 2023 that players could earn XP by playing any Fortnite island, including UEFN islands. That announcement described UEFN XP as time-based and granted hourly at the time; it does not establish present-day rates for these maps. Read Epic’s island XP announcement.
How to choose and compare a map
Use your own session results rather than another player’s screenshot or a rate quoted in a video. A map that performs well for one account may not do so for yours.

- Now Including Hall Effect Modules – Say goodbye to stick drift with contact-free magnetic sensors in the thumbsticks giving you smoother control, enhanced precision, and increased longevity

- 2 Types of Glow – Bring the spirit of the arcade to your controller with a glow in the dark effect and a reaction when a UV light is applied giving off a fluorescent glow

- 3-Way Trigger Locks – Set the travel distance of the triggers with three different positions to pull off quicker actions in your favorite FPS games or go full throttle in a high-end race car
- Pick a route that matches your attention. Christmas Tycoon, as described in the season guide, required setup and active shooting; FortM was recommended for active play. Squid Game Tycoon was described as AFK-style, but that label does not guarantee a stable or worthwhile payout.
- Measure a consistent session. Note your XP before and after playing for the same amount of time, using the same activity. This gives you a practical comparison for your account rather than relying on a reported rate.
- Watch for tapering. If repeated actions or replaying the island award less XP, that is consistent with Epic’s diminishing-returns system. Switch activities or islands rather than assuming the original payout will continue.
- Rotate among options that are paying. The season guide recommended trying multiple maps because rates could vary across accounts and change over time. Treat a map code as a candidate, not a promise.
A community discussion from the period noted that the in-game XP badge could make calibration status difficult to identify and pointed to a third-party Creative browser indicator as a workaround. That was community troubleshooting, not an Epic guarantee, and it does not verify current status. See the period community discussion.
Other XP methods reported for the season
The December 2025 season guide also discussed Battle Royale quests, LEGO modes and Save the World daily quests as alternatives or complements to island play. Its rates below are historical guide figures, not verified current rates.

Epic defines XP as experience points awarded for quests and other accomplishments in a Fortnite game. Its island announcement confirms island play as an XP route, but neither that announcement nor its Accolades documentation guarantees a universal XP-per-hour rate for the named maps.

The map names, codes and payouts above come from a guide updated December 1, 2025, and community discussion from that period. Current availability, calibration and payout are unverified.
