Xilonen is a five-star Geo sword support whose core contribution is resistance reduction and team buffs; her Burst provides healing. Her support sequence is designed to take little field time: activate her Skill and its follow-up attacks, then let the main damage dealer take over. Default: four-piece Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City
Use four-piece Scroll when the team can benefit from its elemental damage bonus. Icy Veins’ set description gives a 12% Elemental DMG Bonus after a qualifying reaction, with an additional 28% while the wearer is in Nightsoul’s Blessing. The effect can trigger off field. The same-name set damage bonuses do not stack, so check whether another teammate already equips Scroll before assigning Xilonen a second copy.

When another set may fit better
- Instructor: Consider it for reaction teams that value Elemental Mastery.
- Archaic Petra: It can grant an elemental damage bonus after Xilonen collects a Crystallize shard. That benefit depends on managing the elemental aura and shard pickup.
- Noblesse Oblige: Its Burst-triggered ATK buff can suit teams whose damage benefits from ATK.
These alternatives serve different team needs; they are not automatic upgrades over Scroll. If another character already carries Scroll, compare the actual buff the team can use and the effort required to maintain an alternative.

Artifact main stats
- Sands: Energy Recharge or DEF%.
- Goblet: DEF%.
- Circlet: DEF%, Healing Bonus, or CRIT Rate when using Favonius Sword.
First meet the Energy Recharge needs of your chosen weapon, team, and rotation. If you use Favonius Sword, build enough CRIT Rate to trigger its passive dependably; otherwise, prioritize DEF where it improves healing or helps meet Peak Patrol Song’s passive requirements. Exact Energy Recharge targets are team- and weapon-dependent. Icy Veins publishes broader ranges but notes that its assumptions vary; KeqingMains says a Healing Bonus circlet or aggressive DEF substat farming is not necessary for comfortable support healing.

Talents and character levels
Level her Elemental Skill first because it is central to her resistance reduction. Raise her Burst next if you need more healing. Normal Attack talent levels are generally unnecessary for support play: the follow-up attacks activate her support effects, but investing in their talent level is not the priority. Character levels are a lower priority than improving the team’s damage dealers, though additional levels can help her DEF and healing.

Weapon choices: buff, energy, or accessibility
There is no universal weapon ranking independent of team and rotation. Compare the value of a team buff with the energy your rotation needs and the weapons available on your account.

As one example of the signature weapon’s mechanics, Icy Veins’ Peak Patrol Song description says its R1 passive provides 8% DEF per stack and 10% All Elemental DMG Bonus for six seconds per stack; at two stacks, the team bonus scales with DEF up to 25.6%. These are in-game weapon values, not a general measure of Xilonen’s damage or a guarantee of the same result in every team.
How to use Xilonen in a rotation
- Apply or maintain the elemental aura your team needs. The right setup depends on the team and the enemy’s aura.
- Use Xilonen’s Elemental Skill.
- Perform the required follow-up Normal Attacks to activate her samples and support effects.
- Switch to your damage dealer so they can use the support window.
- Use Xilonen’s Burst when healing is needed or when it fits the rotation. If she carries Favonius Sword, her CRIT Rate should be sufficient for dependable passive triggers.
Do not treat this as one fixed combo for every roster: aura setup, Burst timing, energy, and the value of healing change with the team and encounter.

How to choose Xilonen’s build for your team
- Check elemental fit: Confirm that your damage dealer is among the Geo, Electro, Hydro, Pyro, or Cryo types she can support.
- Check Scroll coverage: If another teammate already uses the set, account for the fact that same-name set damage bonuses do not stack.
- Check energy and healing: Decide whether Xilonen needs to Burst regularly and whether the party needs her healing in the rotation. This often determines whether Favonius Sword or a DEF-focused option is the better fit.
- Check what the team gives up: Xilonen does not group enemies or provide C0 interruption resistance. If either matters more than her buffs and resistance reduction in a particular encounter, another support may fit better.
