Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to read the week’s release list
- It is a snapshot, not a current calendar. The six-game list appeared in an October 9, 2024 article and describes that release week.
- Vessel of Hatred is an expansion. It is the first Diablo IV expansion, rather than a standalone new base game.
- Platform availability is tied to the roundup. Its labels are PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with Silent Hill 2 independently confirmed for PS5 and PC via Steam by Konami.
- “Biggest” is not a measured ranking. The roundup supplies no sales, review, or audience metric to establish an order among the six games.
The same roundup looked ahead to Dragon Age: The Veilguard and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, but the cited passage gave no dates for them. They were not among its six October 8 and October 11 releases. The list also does not establish current storefront availability or provide comparable evidence about prices, gameplay, performance, accessibility, or reviews.
