The Crew Motorfest’s current island overview names Oʻahu, Maui, Kauaʻi, and Niʻihau—but not all four offer the same access. Oʻahu and Maui provide established routes and activities; Ubisoft announced Kauaʻi as a free Season 11 island, while Niʻihau’s environment and activities require the Year 4 Pass or standalone Tomb Raider DLC. The game’s map is best understood by its islands and landscapes, rather than as a fixed list of official “regions.”
Which islands are on The Crew Motorfest map?
Ubisoft’s current island overview names four islands: Oʻahu, Maui, Kauaʻi, and Niʻihau. Their terrain and access differ, so the island names alone do not tell you what you can explore or which activities are available.

| Oʻahu | Honolulu streets, volcano routes, rainforest off-road routes, and beaches. Ubisoft describes exploration by car, boat, or plane. | Connected to Maui by a bridge area; sea and air travel are also described. | Ubisoft’s original island setting. |
| Maui | A second island with a bridge area that functions as a playground for activities including Grand Race and feats. | Bridge connection to Oʻahu, as well as sea and air travel. | Added free in November 2024. |
| Kauaʻi | Exploration and off-road driving, including dense swamps and Red Canyon. | Specific connection details are not stated in Ubisoft’s Season 11 announcement. | Announced as a free island for Season 11, which Ubisoft said would begin October 7, 2026. |
| Niʻihau | Ubisoft’s overview evokes temples; the Year 4 announcement reserves the island’s environment and activities for eligible buyers. | Specific travel connections are not stated in the cited announcements. | Visible on the map to all players, but its environment and activities require the Year 4 Pass or standalone Tomb Raider DLC pack. |
What is distinctive about each island?
Oʻahu: city, volcanic routes, rainforest, and beaches
Oʻahu is the original setting and has the widest range of landscapes described in Ubisoft’s starting guide: Honolulu’s streets, volcano routes, rainforest trails for off-road driving, and beaches. The guide identifies cars, boats, and planes as ways to explore the island. Ubisoft’s starting guide to The Crew Motorfest lays out these starting points.
Maui: a bridge that is part of the playground
Maui was added free in November 2024. Ubisoft describes travel between it and Oʻahu by land, sea, or air, with the bridge providing a continuous land connection. The company says, “This network of bridges and its surrounding area offer a seamless transition to Maui, without any loading time.” The bridge area is also a place for activities such as Grand Race and feats, rather than merely a route between islands. See Ubisoft’s Maui announcement.

Kauaʻi: announced for Season 11
Ubisoft announced Kauaʻi as a new free island for Season 11, which the company said would begin October 7, 2026. Its announcement emphasizes exploration and off-road driving, calling out dense swamps and Red Canyon. Treat those details as the announced scope; the announcement alone does not establish the island’s live-build status or every in-game feature. Ubisoft’s Year 4 roadmap gives the Season 11 date and island details.
Niʻihau: map visibility is not the same as access
Ubisoft’s island overview includes Niʻihau and evokes temples, but its Year 4 announcement makes an important distinction: the island can be visible on the map to all players, while its environment and activities are reserved for Year 4 Pass owners or buyers of the standalone Tomb Raider DLC pack. Do not interpret a map marker or island outline as free access to the full area. The access terms are described in Ubisoft’s Year 4 roadmap.

How are activities organized on the map?
Playlists: themed event collections
Ubisoft describes Playlists as short, thematic campaigns built around tailored races, themed events, and unique challenges. They are a useful way to choose what to do when you want a curated theme rather than simply driving to a location.
Map markers: extra activities and challenges
World markers can point to additional activities beyond Playlist events. Ubisoft’s starting guide gives examples such as slaloming around cones, driving at timed speeds, and flying through hoops. These examples show that map challenges can test different vehicles and skills; they are not a complete list of everything currently available.

Seasonal additions change the activity mix
The activity selection grows and changes with seasons. Ubisoft’s Season 9 overview, for example, lists NASCAR and RC Frenzy Playlists and a Kahoʻolawe-based playground. Its Season 10 overview describes the Motorfest Late Show and Hawaii Grand Tour. These are examples of seasonal additions, not a guaranteed complete or permanent list of current events. Check the in-game map and Playlist selection for what is available in your build. See Ubisoft’s Season 9 overview and Ubisoft’s Season 10 overview.

For Oʻahu and Maui, Ubisoft documents a bridge connection as well as sea and air travel. The bridge and surrounding area are part of the playable space, and Ubisoft says the transition does not require a loading screen. Oʻahu’s starting guide also describes exploring by car, boat, and plane. The cited announcements do not specify equivalent travel connections for Kauaʻi or Niʻihau, so those routes should not be assumed from the island overview alone.

How does fast travel work?
Fast travel exists in The Crew Motorfest: Ubisoft’s Season 7 patch notes refer to a bug in which a boat could end up below ground after fast travel. However, the official material cited here does not establish the current map-menu steps, which destinations qualify, or any unlock requirements. Because those details can depend on the current game build, consult the in-game interface rather than relying on unverified button instructions. Ubisoft’s patch note reference is in the Season 7 patch notes.
Fast travel is not the same as Fast Fav. Ubisoft’s starting guide describes Fast Fav as swapping the selected vehicle, including while travelling on a road, in the air, or over the ocean; it does not identify it as a map-teleport feature. See the starting guide for that vehicle feature.
