The First Berserker: Khazan is a cel-shaded action RPG from Neople and NEXON, released March 27, 2025. Its free demo launched earlier that year, but the Steam and PlayStation demo services were later suspended, so availability now depends on the platform. This playthrough title captures an enthusiastic reaction; without the footage itself, the details below stick to what the official listings and notices establish.
What is The First Berserker: Khazan?
The First Berserker: Khazan is an action RPG set in the Dungeon Fighter Online universe. The PlayStation listing places its story 800 years before the events of that universe and describes Khazan returning to recover lost Lacrima after being defeated. Neople developed the game, and NEXON published it; the listed release date is March 27, 2025. PlayStation’s game listing and the Steam listing provide the official game details.

What does the demo offer?
The free demo was announced for January 16, 2025 at 15:00 UTC. The official announcement invited players to “Try out the DEMO version for free from January 16, 2025 at 15:00 UTC.” That launch announcement is historical: it does not establish that the demo can still be downloaded today. Read the Steam community demo announcement.

The official PlayStation description presents the game around strategic combat, skills, weapons and equipment, and bosses with distinct patterns and weaknesses. It also lists skill respecs, gear-set attributes, New Game+ and post-playthrough boss modes. Those are publisher-described features, not a substitute for seeing what a particular demo playthrough includes.

Is the demo still available?
Not on every platform, based on the latest dated notice available here. In June 2025, the developers said the online demo on Steam and PlayStation was temporarily suspended because updates had made demo content significantly different from the full game. The notice said Xbox suspension timing would be announced separately, so it does not establish the current Xbox status either. Check the relevant platform’s store or official announcements before looking for a download; the notice does not provide a confirmed date for the demo’s return. Read the developers’ suspension notice in the patch notes.

If the playthrough is from PS5, PlayStation’s listing confirms DualSense vibration and adaptive trigger effects. The same listing describes options for visual comfort, clear and large text and subtitles, basic controller remapping, stick sensitivity and inversion, manual saving, tutorial reminders, and turning off vibration or adaptive trigger effects. These are PS5 listing details; they should not be assumed to describe the unspecified platform shown in a playthrough.
