To find Embars Ruins’ named lore items, Soulstones, chests, and other pickups, follow the mission’s main route through the temple, then check the statue hall, enclosure, and ladder-accessible upper walkway before leaving. The available guides do not establish one verified total for every collectible category in this mission, so use the Blade Nexus mission checklist to confirm completion.

1. Check the battleground ruins and shrine area
As you reach the battleground ruins, follow the forward path and clear the undead as the route opens. At the shrine area with lit braziers, break through the wooden barricade on the left. A Soulstone is near the stone wall beyond it, according to Neoseeker’s Embars Ruins guide.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2. Search beside the first stone steps
Continue up the stone steps. After the first set, look to the right beside the wooden scaffolding for a chest. An undead brute nearby is the guide’s landmark for this pickup.
#1 Best Overall
- YOU MUST PREVAIL Survive the relentless pursuit of imperial forces, navigate conspiracies aimed at killing Khazan, and overcome the harsh environments you encounter
- YOU MUST REMEMBER You were once a hero in the history of Arad, a once-in-a-lifetime figure. Recall the forgotten skills of battle learned through brutal torture and slay the enemies who defame and stand against you
- YOU MUST RECLAIM Find all potential enemies, reclaim everything that was taken from you, seek revenge, and regain the honor and glory that rightfully belong to you
- Pre order The First Berserker: Khazan and receive the Fallen Star Armor Set (While Supplies Last. Item is not guaranteed.)
3. Look around the temple entrance
After the next set of steps, pause before entering the temple. A Grave-Robber’s Memoir is near the first pillar on the right. A Soul Tear is around the right side of the temple entrance.
4. Search the hall and enclosure
Inside the hall, check behind the statues for A Scout’s Time-Worn Journal. Reports on the Dragonkin is listed at the entrance to a small enclosure by MapMaster’s Embars Ruins Collection Items guide.

5. Take the ladder to the upper walkway
Do not skip the ladder-accessible upper route. MapMaster lists a chest at the end of this elevated walkway and another by the wooden watchtower in its Embars Ruins chests guide. Check both locations if you are completing the mission checklist.
Other pickups listed for Embars Ruins
A video walkthrough by The Saboteur lists additional pickups with timestamps. These timestamps can help you navigate the video, but its item list does not independently establish precise landmarks for every pickup:
Rank #3
- Experience the brutal action of The First Berserker: Khazan, a hardcore Action RPG adventure set 800 years before the events of the Dungeon Fighter Online (DNF) Universe.
- You will experience the vast universe and journey to the continent of Arad and discover the untold story of General Khazan.
- Vitality Tome — 00:00
- Soulstone — 00:31
- A Grave-Robber’s Memoir — 00:56

How to confirm Embars Ruins completion
At a Blade Nexus, check the mission checklist’s Collection Item completion state. MapMaster notes that chest pickups contribute to Collection Item completion, so a missed chest can matter even when the named lore items have been collected. The available guides do not reconcile a single total covering Embars Ruins’ Soulstones, lore, recipes, Ghost Items, chests, and Jarlings; use the checklist rather than relying on an assumed all-category count.
Rank #4
- Experience the brutal action of The First Berserker: Khazan, a hardcore Action RPG adventure set 800 years before the events of the Dungeon Fighter Online (DNF) Universe.
- You will experience the vast universe and journey to the continent of Arad and discover the untold story of General Khazan.
What missed collectibles mean for completion
PowerPyx’s March 24, 2025 guide counts 161 collectibles across the game in six categories: Soulstones, Jarlings, Golden Collection Items, Collection Items, Crafting Recipes, and Ghost Items. It says all 15 Golden Collection Items are required for the Ozma’s Past trophy and also for the THE FIRST BERSERKER ending trophy. The same guide says collectibles can be obtained by replaying missions, but cautions players pursuing missed items not to start New Game+ after the credits. These are guide-publisher figures and claims, not official game statistics. See PowerPyx’s trophy guide and roadmap.
