Published guides disagree on some enemy counts, so check Rowan’s live quest text before farming.
Where to find Captain Rowan
Secondary guides place Rowan at the Forgotten Kingdom Encampment, outside the Ruined Cave. A route described by one guide is to complete the early Sensei Moro quests and use the Portal Tool to reach the Forgotten Kingdom; this access information comes from a secondary guide, not official game documentation (The Forge Guide; The Forge Roblox Wiki).
After completing a stage, return to Rowan to advance the questline, as reported by The Forge Roblox Wiki. His transcribed greeting is: “If you’re here to fight, then you’re welcome among us.” (The Forge Roblox Wiki).
Captain Rowan quest objectives and rewards
The Forge Guide lists six stages. The table preserves that source’s objective counts and numeric rewards as a snapshot; values may change in the live game. The wiki corroborates much of the progression but differs on some enemy counts, detailed below (The Forge Guide; The Forge Roblox Wiki).

Where the published counts disagree
The Forge Roblox Wiki lists 25 Skeleton Rogues for stage 2, rather than the 15 listed by The Forge Guide. For stage 4, the wiki lists 5 Elite Deathaxe Skeletons, while The Forge Guide lists 1. These sources do not establish which count is current. Use the objective displayed in your game as the authority for your run, rather than combining the two lists (The Forge Guide; The Forge Roblox Wiki).
What to prepare for
Expect a steadily tougher enemy mix
The early stages focus on Skeleton Rogues and Axe Skeletons. Deathaxe Skeletons and an Eye Ore collection objective enter at stage 3; stage 4 adds elite skeletons, and stage 5 introduces Blazing Slimes. The final stage adds Reapers and requires 30 Epic Essence. The chain therefore asks for both repeated combat and material collection, with its heaviest enemy totals at the end (The Forge Guide; The Forge Roblox Wiki).

Match your gear to the next objective
A secondary guide recommends decent equipment and potions because cave enemies can be tough, but the available guides establish no tested build, best weapon, required gear threshold, or fastest route. Prepare according to the enemies in your next stage rather than relying on a supposedly optimal setup (The Forge Guide).

Check the displayed objectives and rewards when accepting or advancing a quest, especially for stages 2 and 4 where the published counts conflict.
