The Free Ones is a single-player, first-person platformer from Farsky Interactive, built around Theo’s grapple-based movement. The developer lists PC, Mac, and Linux versions, but its published requirements are minimum specifications—not confirmation that the game works on every current system. Steam announced its removal from that store in April 2022; that does not establish whether it is available elsewhere.
What is The Free Ones about?
Farsky Interactive describes the game as Theo’s adventure across canyons and a man-made island. Its official page calls it a first-person platformer with an extraordinary story and a twist. The premise and feature descriptions here are the developer’s, rather than independently verified gameplay impressions. Farsky Interactive’s Steam page

How does the grapple movement work?
The grapple is the central movement mechanic. According to the developer, players swing through the environment and use momentum to make progress; wooden surfaces are useful grapple points. The page also describes traversal around structures, moving crates and carts, trains, waterfalls, and floating objects.
Which platforms and requirements does the developer list?
