Compare your PC’s Windows version, processor, RAM, graphics card, DirectX support, and free storage with the Steam listing for The Headliners. 2. Verify the game files in Steam
- Open Steam and go to Library.
- Right-click The Headliners, or select its gear icon, then choose Properties.
- Open Installed Files and select Verify integrity of game files.
- Let the check finish; it may take several minutes. Then try launching the game.
Steam says verification can help with crashes or missing content. If it reports that one or more files failed verification, that does not automatically mean the installation is broken: Steam notes that local configuration files are not replaced and this result can be normal for most games. 3. Install available Windows and graphics-driver updates
Check Windows Update and the support or update utility for your graphics-card manufacturer for available updates. Steam includes Windows and device-driver updates in its general launch troubleshooting advice, but no particular driver version is established as a fix for The Headliners.

4. Close non-essential programs and check for conflicts
Exit programs you do not need while testing the game, then launch it again. Steam recommends disabling non-essential software when diagnosing launch problems. This is a way to check for a conflict; it does not establish that a specific overlay, security product, or other program is responsible.
